56Food was very very average, and this is being nice. The fried rice came all clumped together and was very bland (no exaggeration), we had to ask them to take it back. The seafood noodle was the same, bland. The spring onion pancake was like 1% spring onion, 99% dough, all I could taste was the dough. Honestly DO NOT recommend! This is no exaggeration.
We had a lovely dinner! It was so yum,
All the staff were so friendly and kind.
Service was quick and food was very tasty.
- squid tentacles
- flat rice noodles
- king prawn dumpling
- bbq pork bun
- sticky rice roll
All 10/10
Service was even better
We will be back.
I had lunch for dim sum in that restaurant on 30 January 2023.1.the attitude of staff was the rudest that I had ever received, particularly to Asian
2.the food quality was poorest that I had ever tried
3.the environment was nosiest that I had ever experienced
4.in sum, it was absolutely not value for money, indeed rubbish! 100% not recommended, particularly to Asian
Awful food and service. The duck fried noodle was served undercooked, overly salty, and oily. They also forgot and lost our order, ended up waited for more than 1 hour for our noodle with three times of chasing them up.
Chinese New Year Banquet with friends. The new premises are so much better. More room. Clean and modern. Plenty of parking close by.
Good food but a bit expensive, would have left if I wasn't with family. All the plates and bowls were filthy. AC ducts were leaking and kept dripping all over the table.needs a health inspector visit.
Booked a spot here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Very expensive but nice food. Nice taste, nice presentation. Also a bit slow between dishes delivery, not too long, still bearable. Bonus point for letting us to temporarily put our cake in their kitchen while we are having meal.
Below average in every aspects. Very disappointed in eating out at Chinese restaurants in Adelaide these days
Authentic Hong Kong style yum-cha. The new place at Wright Street, was more spacious and tidier (much better than the old address). Waiters and waitresses were very polite. Frankly the dishes here is less tasty compared to a Dim Sum restaurant in Norwood, but we prefer to come here instead of dreading to see a very rude waiter there.
The food is good but the only cons is that they take forever to serve the drinks to you, even if it is only one drink.
Worst dining experience ever in my life.
Came here with my friend, ordered 2 entree and 2 main, entree was served after the main.
Asked the waitress and she replied
“ you never tell us so whatever is cooked will be served”
Bowl was dirty, asked to change a new one but never bring one until being asked again.
-Xiao Long Bao
Poorly presented and served to the table.
-Stir Fried Crocodile with XO sauce
It tasted like oyster sauce with chili and garlic.
Feedback to the waitress and she said
“ it is what it is, it’s always delicious, and you can choose not to order it and order something else. ”
A so called chef recommended dish doesn’t cooked in a perfect way and been asked to order something else next time?
VERY RUDE AND VERY BAD SERVICE!
My boss took us there for our break up Christmas dinner.
It couldn't be faulted.
The food was very tasty.
There was a good quantity of food for consumption.
There was a substantial selection for food choices.
The drinks list had a large range too.
The staff were very attentive and friendly.
It wax quiet and relaxing to sit down for a meal.
I highly recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.
Great quick attentive service and solid menu of classic dishes. Retro and cosy interior reminded me of childhood.:) Specials board was extensive with a bunch of interesting dishes.
Great service great food well priced have eaten there many times stand out meals for me chicken feet ox tripe and crispy Peking beef.
Food is good above than average. BUT one of waiter is quite rude. I left a coffee cup after I finished lunch. I asked a waiter "Could I leave it on the table, as no rubbish bin nearby". The staff said "it's ok". Then, an average-tall male staff came in and asked me rudely took it away, it was shop policy. … It was just a coffee cup. There is no issues I threw it by myself. But your waiter treated customer so terrible.
- Recommend: lava bun, prawn dumpling, mango pudding
- Not recommend: chicken feet, bbp pork bun, golden fried squid, fried wonton, egg tart, scallop dumpling
Lots of food we ate here in many times. We used to be regular customer until we found another better yum cha place.
Great yumcha, coming from Sydney, expectations were high, this is definitely the best Yumcha Adelaide has to offer. Great service great food can't complain
Great, authentic dimsum/yumcha place. Staff were also friendly. Great spot, 10/10 will come again
Very positive experience.
They were able to accomodate us with minimal notice. Food was good. Service is very good compare to lots of other places.
We will come back for sure.
Great food and the service is fantastic. Recommended to all that love Asian food.
You won't be disappointed.
