Ding Hao reviews
56I've been coming to Ding Hao regularly for almost two years now. The team are always friendly and accommodating. The food just great. It's the kind of place that somehow manages to accommodate business lunches, and families, and everything else, into its atmosphere and it just works.
My worst yum cha experience ever. We ordered as a group and requested a comprehensive bill to split but we did not get a bill and everything was in Chinese so we did not know what we were charged for. The food came out cold on the inside and did not taste fresh at all. Very disappointed.
What beautiful and fresh tasting food.
Very friendly staff and a generally great experience.
I would recommend this place.
Amazing dim sum. They have around 20 different flavours of dimsum, they're all decent.
This is one of the best dimsum places in town
Extremely bad service. Would never recommend. PLUS Heavy use of MSG. I have been to many many Chinese restaurants this one I will never go again. Read on. Went there for Yum Cha only had 5 serves they forgot about the other 3 serves we Arrived at 12.20 left at 3.00pm we had nothing but excuses from them that kitchen was bad? Ordered Spring Rolls well at 12.30pm they had sold out.hmmmm not a good way to start.not given a reason just told sold out. I ask When does a Chinese restaurant sell out of Spring Rolls? Food was full of MSG had heart racing from so much and tingling lips plus headache classic MSG over dose. WILL NEVER BE BACK > WILL NEVER RECOMMEND!
The food was really great. Possibly the best Yum Cha I have eaten at. Service speed and friendliness let them down a little, but a huge tip of the hat to the chef.
Great food, great value.
Great tasty food. They have vegetarian options as well but not easy to find in the menu so talk to a waitress/waiter. Egg fried rice was great.
Very poor service.very poor that at 12.30 no spring rolls all for 5 Yum cha meals and over two hour for 5 meals and out of the wine we wanted so had to take second best.overall will never return poor service poor meals and just poor all round.was testing to bring family of six noway now.just really bad.
SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO ELSEWHERE. THE CHINA MARKET IS RECOMMENDED.
Too busy, too squashed in - you could barely move. No social distancing happening in this place! Food was alright. Can honestly say I'm not a fan of yum cha & won't ever go again.
Dim sums are yummy but quite disappointed with the fried beef rice noodle and yimee as they're very oily and salty with little noodle but lots of beansprouts.
An institution, bustling and frantic, all the classic yum cha favorites. The salt and pepper squid and smoked duck are favorites as well as the suit main and yam puff.
Wasn't impressed. Went there twice over 2 weeks. Both times order yum cha. The food came out late. Both times group of people came in after us managed to get their food first. Wont be back there again. Yum cha was average in taste and quality along with slow service we will give it a miss from now on.
Reliable offering of fast service and tasty Chinese food. Amongst the best dimsum/yumcha in Adelaide.
The food is great, the wine list very reasonable, the team led Jenny is fantastic. Thank you for great meals.
Had lunch with a party of 7 family and friends. Service was attentive and we had plenty of different dishes of food which arrived hot. (We had Yum Cha). We had booked and we were seated straight away on arrival.
Take away yumcha, perfect service and good food (even after 30mins journey)! They also allow customer to take the chilli oil and soy sauce without additional charge! Highly recommended to everyone during this pandemic situation
Worked at this restaurant during holiday, yam puff and crispy beef are the best foods after working. Never realise that one of the chef is actually the owner, until weeks of working lol.
Great food and service. All tbr dishes were delicious and fresh and arrived at our table in short time.
The food here was sensational really enjoyed, came back the following evening as well. Was working away from home so good to come here for food as it was near the hotel. Staff were very friendly.
The yumchar is surprisingly good and I felt even it's better than a lot of Yumchar Spot in Sydney.
Strongly recommend if you are visiting Adelaide Chinatown.
