Delhi Spice Indian Restaurant reviews
54Actually seen the re use dirty pans that had dried food on there that had previously been cooked with. I wish I filmed it I used to love deli Spice now I've wiped the vindaloo with them and they can stick the garlic and cheese man up there rogan Josh
After trying most curry houses this side of the city this was the one that stood out. Great selection, flavour and freshness was there with generous portions. Been going for a few years now and will be back for sure. Book if you're eating in. Can get busy.
Favourite Indian in Adelaide. Great authentic flavours with lots of options on the menu. Gets quite busy even during the week, so I'd recommend ringing a head of time for orders/bookings.
We used to go here ALL the time. Food seriously went down hill and the older man who answered the phone is rude. Even we addressed the problem with the food as regulars it was never rectified and occurred time and time again. Poor service and average food.
Worst Indian food ever had in my life.really dissapointed! Never going there or recommending anyone for sure!
Large pots of food uncovered and just reheated not up to Australian standards in food handling quality has gone completely
Favourite Indian restaurant in Adelaide. Reasonably priced, good dine in experience always delicious. Recommend making a booking if you want to dine in as they are quite popular, even during the week.
Best food in a while. Last time we were a little disappointed but with this great family business they came through.
Food was excellent. Price was a little higher than other nearby Indian restaurants but prepared to pay that for the quality of the food
Quaint, local Indian restaurant. Great food and authentic flavors. Lots of stuff to try on the menu.
Overall a good place to dine, however going by reviews it looks like the day we visited was more of a hit and a miss. Peas pulao had very less salt, while the Chicken tikka masala turned out to be a dry version rather than the anticipated curry version. Even so, the taste was not what we would classify as authentic Delhi style. Shahi Paneer, Garlic Naan and Roti were good.
It is obvious a lot of effort goes into running a family owned restaurant and I put my visit down to a one off day.
Always a pleasure having food here, wait time is minimal on most days, byo, small business owned by humble people with good values.
I was disappointed in the vegetarian curries. They had been padded out with cabbage. The samosas and naans were up to their usual high standard. The flavours of the curries were superb.
My ‘go to’ place for Indian food in Adelaide. Highly recommend the Chicken Madras, Korma and Beef Vindaloo. Service is always quick. The menu items are affordable priced.
