Delhi Spice Indian Restaurant reviews
54Great food and service! Had lamb roganjosh, lamb biryani, chicken tikka, butter chicken and garlic naan. All delicious
By far the best, most delicious Indian food I've ever eaten. Will definitely be going back there again soon! Amazing and friendly service too! Very highly recommended!
I have never left a negative review in my life, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you order food.
Awful, worst butter chicken
I had a take away Butter chicken curry was so bad Smells tasteless and I didn’t find the butter taste, It was really curry tasted more like tomato soup and garlic Naan was so bad burned too.
Lamb Rogan Josh
I had one of the worst Lamb Rohan Josh ever. Looked like it was stale with tasteless, Greasy gravy too much salt.
Shahi Paneer
shahi paneer - paneer was very sour in taste, I never had shahi paneer with lots of vinegar.
What we were wondering was why this restaurant has such great reviews. I found only of couple of poor and terrible ones here. Really surprised!
I do not recommend this restaurant foods.
Best Indian in Adelaide. Beware if you dine in though, if your table is towards the front you are constantly surrounded by customers collecting takeaway
Amazing food as always and at a reasonable price. The staff are very friendly, highly recommend.
Absolutely the most delicious, fresh and good value Indian food around. The mushroom matar is incredible. Would 100% recommend.
Great food, cheap prices. Have their own delivery vehicles. The household are all semi regular customers
Worst food I had in my life, don't know the recipe of Kali Mirch chicken, even garlic naan was like unbelievable they don't know how to make garlic naan.
Pathetic.won't go again
Best Indian takeaway around. My usual is the beef Madras, samosa chat and chilli cheese naan. Tonight I added the onion bhaji
Cute little restaurant. Yummy, authentic food, BYO and the beef was really tender. I had the vindaloo - quite rich, hot and delicious. I also had a pakora - yummy filling but a bit too oily for me but I did eat both of them. I had takeaway but would definitely take my friends there to eat. They sometimes have some little tables just outside - just need fairy lights to set the scene and it would be amazing.
Need some improvement in food. However, salted lassi was really good. It wasn't on menu but made on our request. Good customer service.
The best Indian ever. I have food allergies and I trust them to give me safe food. I dont get my indian food anywhere else!
If you've eaten at spice'n'ice, circa 2012-2015, you know what I'm talking about. This is the bomb.
Years and years i have loved this place. Food amazing people nice x one of my favorite places to eat.
We have been going to Delhi Spice for many year now. The best Indian food ever! The staff are friendly and go out of their way to provide an excellent service.
Decent place for an Indian meal. Food was good but did not enjoy the grilled. Service was quick.
Love this local. If u just take away you miss all the specials on offer - the chicken malabar was delicious especially with their Indian chuckney as a side splashed over. It's a backyard kind of atmosphere and the prices say so but special to have it only 5 mins drive away. BYO cheapest in town too.
Wonderful food. I like their man bread with potatoes or cheese. Tried the Goat Marsala
. Beautiful
First rate Indian food that is not expensive. Five of us dined in and shared a range of dishes. The chicken korma was lovely and creamy, the beef Madras tasty and the eggplant and potato curry just fabulous. We had some freshly cooked naan bread straight from the oven and steamed rice as well.
We have been going to this restaurant from 6-7years, but last couple of times the food wasn’t up to standard. Last time we had been and all the curries were testing less so we haven’t gone back for six months but tonight we gave it a go and it was more wore than last time. All curries no test, stringing onion all over in curry, no salt. Tables uncleaned for long food take more than 45min to come. Sorry but will not return soon.
