Daw Park Fish Shop

Ordered 3 Butterfish, 1 Pineapple Fritter, a Large serve of Chips and a Large Gravy. The meal was delivered on time, but no gravy. Immediately called up and informed them that the gravy hadn't been delivered. Was told the delivery guy was doing another delivery but he would get us our gravy straight after. 30 mins later still no gravy. Called up again and was told it was on its way and that we were getting a complimentary drink. Bear in mind this amount of food was clearly not for one person. Another 25 minutes pass. Still no gravy. This is now 55 minutes after we received our order. I call up again. Was informed it's a few minutes away. Informed them that the food was already cold, he said we could give it back to the driver for a refund. Told them not to bother, was starving and it's easier to just reheat it. Driver then arrived with gravy and our complimentary CAN OF SPRITE. THATS RIGHT, A MEASELY 375ML CAN OF SPRITE. FOR 2 PEOPLE. AS COMPENSATION FOR US HAVING TO WAIT A WHOLE HOUR FOR GRAVY TO BE DELIVERED. FOR US HAVING TO REHEAT OUR ENTIRE MEAL. Terrible service, should of been given a full refund even without having to return the food. And the can of sprite was just a slap in the face. Will not be returning here.

Fantastic dippy dogs with great yiros (steak and fish). My mate and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and we will be back! Hearty recommendation.

The prawns were covered Ina mountain of salt, the pasta was off made me want to puke up the food. Chips and crumbed fish was good but the meal was ruined by salt and 2 week old mayo pasta.

Ordered mixture of grilled and battered fish with chips. Battered fish cooked and wrapped 5 minutes prior to grilled fish being cooked resulting in soft batter

I had a hamburger with the lot, it was huge and tasty. My wife had fish and chips and was very pleased. The chips were great.

Their sizes are really bad. $17 for a "large AB" and its actually a really small size you get. I'd pay $8 for what I received. And given the poor quality of the food I will not even bother shopping here again.

Disgusting, AB pack $15, there was 3 chicken bones in it and the meat looked and tasted like 3 day old hobo socks. And it had onion in it.who puts onion in an AB. Appalling, don't waste your money, it took 1hr and 15mins on a Tuesday, and my room mates fish tasted like iron. If I could give less then a one star, I would.

I love to visit this place to eat hot, crispy and tasty fish!

Great Quality and large quantity of food!

This place has great pricing and good food even delivery via menulog and eatnow by far my 1st local choice in fish and chip shops

Service and prices are good, however the food was poor and their online ordering very poorly designed. There are only options to add extras but none to take any away, for example - 'no pineapple'.
Using Coles 85c loaf bread for a steak sandwich is not good quality and forget about having it arrive toasted on the outside.
The battered fish was nice and light but there was not even a wedge of lemon to go with it and I don't know what they were thinking with CINNAMON as seasoning for the chips.
Nuggets were very mediocre.
It has potential to be a nice spot for fish and chips, but too many detractors to make me want to go back. I might wait to see reviews suggesting improvement.

Great value for money! Good food, great service. A lovely family owned business. Why support maccas or hjs when you can get a quality cheap feed from these guys, 5 stars!

Waited 45 minutes for a delivery, expecting nice food, potato fritters tasted like fish.steak sandwich was sloppy, bacon and egg roll was bare! Had all fat pieces, no butter on the bread.literally yuck.not ordering there again! Very disappointed especially for the money.
