Daw Park Fish Shop reviews
53Disgusting, Combination yiros had BEEF and chicken, cooked onions, lettuce tomato something that looked like garlic sauce but no garlic. Hamburger was bearable to force down half. I almost feel like ringing for money back. What a effing JOKE of a shitshop.shut shop mate
First time ordering from this shop and Sorry but the meal was terrible, one piece of fish was cooked to cardboard likeness, the meal was lukewarm and I realise it’s a busy night but 75 minutes is a very long wait.
Missing items very dry fish potoato cake no bigger than 2 cm oh also missing potato worst I have ever had from a fish and chip shop
I Don’t really write many, but had to because the food was amazing. The staff is very friendly and has excellent customer service. I ordered an AB Combo and was not disappointed. I loved the food definitely will visit again. Must Try.
The food here is really amazing. The new management and staff is really working hard to provide best food and services. Great fish and chips shop and definitely going there again!
New owners.
Great service, very friendly guy.
Try the steak sandwiches or chiko rolls. Excellent!
Great customer service bent over backwards to suit my dietary requirements
Will definitely recommend to all future customers
Try the Mango Lassi! Beautiful mango yoghurt drink (but not overly sweet like others I've tried before). Plus caring service, yummy food and open late!
First time ordering from Daw Park Fish Shop. Saw it had a decent score on Menulog but disappointed. Look the butterfish was good as were the pineapple fritters. One of the crabsticks was battered still with the plastic on it. Calamari rings over cooked and salads were very average. Won't order again.
Don’t usually eat at this place but ordered online and was very disappointed. I was genuinely scared to eat some of the food. The lettuce in the chicken burger smelt off, the chips were barely salted and stale, the hash browns were squashed into a bag and had become mashed up hash browns. That’s just the main issues. I implore people not to eat here. If you’re looking for a quick feed you’d be better off at a fast food chain restaurant, which is a testament to the low quality of food this place offers.
Ordered my food the chicken was ok but the colesaw tasted like pure posion it just gave me food posioning making me chuck none stop gravy watered down and tasted wierd like the colesaw fish was ok and pasta salad was the same as the colsaw and the seafood stick wasnt good as well not happy at all this place needs to be assested for food saftey and cross contamination as like i said tasted like pure posionness chemicals
Taking this further
Their fish and potato cakes have a beautiful light and crisp batter. The chips are very tasty too.
No gloves! Handled food and money with no gloves not acceptable in these covid19 times.also the Fish tasted funny
My husband ate fish and chips from here at 6 pm and by 1 in the morning he was very sick and for the next day was in bed vomiting
Wasn't good when I tried it, maybe it was a bad day. Potato fritters were tiny the size of hockey pucks and not very tasty. Burger too was tiny and really bland, no sauce either. I wouldn't go back.
The best value take away shop in town. Delicious hot dogs, crunchy chips, great steak sandwiches and amazing chicken munchies. Always served with a smile.
Great burger, awful stale chips and a large pasta salad that was a small pasta something, not what I'd call a pasta salad. Will be sticking with my local fish and chip shop instead, much better quality there
Avoid avoid avoid! Easily the worst Yiros i have ever had in my life. Was sceptical when i asked where the meat comes from as no roto in the shop and he showed me a container but silly of me to still buy one.
The shop is also very dirty and can imagine rats and mice breeding in the back room.
So much potential. So much disappointment. The chips were great the gravy was watery thin the fish was OK nice sizes but who puts chicken salt on fish? And the way it was packed the batter came off the fish.the dim Sims had been oil blasted to a new realm perhaps back to the 50's and the potato fritters were so thin they were just batter the price was above average and the menu was a mess
