Love the service! Really friendly staff and excellent samosas! Would definitely go back when I go to Adelaide.

We had three chicken schnitzels. The worst schnitzel that I ever had. Schnitzel was in the shape of pieces, and when I asked the owner, he said that he cut them. Funny is that he thought that I never had schnitzel. Yeah, he offered a few dollars, but why? He knew that. Schnitzel chicken is even poor quality and pretty hard. The fish and chips were overly dripping in oil. We were so disappointed with the food. He was trying to be very nice when we got in, but not with food. They know how to speak with customers, and I think they probably spent that on food. I would say don't try Schnitzel there. Waste of money. I barely write bad reviews unless I get the worst. We spent our money to have good food, but not of this quality.

Ordered Classic AB (swapped tomato sauce out for sweet chilli), chicken was tender and delicious, generous meat to chip ratio.

Whatever they put on the Dim sims for seasoning was unreal, potato fritters too.

Mango Lasi tasted exactly how it should have, definitely getting that again.

The bloke who served us was great, very friendly, and we were so busy chatting that we almost walked out without paying.

Very positive experience, and I will be back again for sure.

Always excellent food, and the service is unmatched for a chicken shop. I drive past 5 others to get to this one every time.

I’ve been buying from this shop for 12 years. It used to be excellent but after tonight’s takeaway, I feel sick. The Fish and Chips were overly dripping in oil and the piece of Garfish that was served up was microscopic. If Fish from the wholesaler is small, given that the shop pays a per kg price, the previous owner would provide 2 pieces but I contacted the shop and they were not interested in doing anything to help, simply sighting that “that’s what the wholesaler provides”. Anyway, given the greasy oily nature of all products purchased, it’s probably best I didn’t have a larger piece. I contemplated buying a salad that was in the dimly lit cabinet but it looked like it had been sitting there for a week. After 12 years, I won’t be going back, with the one across the other side of Goodwood Rd being much better. Buyer beware.

Apart from obviously great food, the openning hours beats going to Maccas or Hungry Flaps.

Excellent friendly service from the owner who has great pride in his business. The fish burger is excellent value: massive and delicious. Best chips in the area, too (and generous too, unlike the place across the road).

Ordered a lamb yiros, I couldn't eat it as it was way too spicy. Partners fish was dry an inedible. Was extremely disappointed.

I’ve been trying to keep my reviews positive but I have to warn off other people about this place. They are walking distance from us but as we didn’t want to drive we used Uber to place a large order. The first order was marked as not available so we changed it (family fish meal) we had to order all separately (at greater charge)!
After an hour it still not even been collected so we went to the restaurant and were told flatly they were busy and ordered had not yet been started. We asked to cancel it and we’re told they could not and had to contact Uber.
When we cancel with Uber we were charged full price as the shop had marked it ready for driver to collect.
Uber said shop should have cancelled so we went back to the shop and he flatly lied to us claiming he can not cancel it.
He then claimed we had to talk to his boss when quite clearly him and his wife on a Friday night are obviously the owners.
He just lied to us and took our money.
Then when we checked we were actually charged for both orders!
We’re still nearly $200 down!
Liars!

I stopped by after work and ordered small Peri Peri AB pack. Small pack turned out so huge for me, can feed for 2. Chips were nice and fresh, chicken was succulent and juicy, hot sauce just perfect. Good customer service from friendly staff, I’m glad this place open till late so I can stop by anytime after work.

Remember the good old fashioned hamburger with the lot… This is the place to get them. Great friendly service from the staff (love the personalised message on the bag) and good value. Chips are really good as well. Give them a try and you’ll become a regular customer.

Ordered an AB. Chips were alright, decent to be honest but the chicken and lamb on the AB was inedible. It was stringy and tasteless. I hope I’m one of the only ones that’s received this quality of meat and I do hope it’s because it was because it’s late at night but no one should pay over $20 for that. If it wasn’t too much hassle, I’d be asking for my money back.

I only got some hot chips and a couple of corn jacks so I can't speak for the other food.

This small business, HAS THE BE THE BEST, I mean BEST fish and chips shop in Adelaide, They provide brilliant customer service and fresh food.

One of the best places in the suburb. New management is amazing and great food. The new burger menu is outstanding. Highly recommend this place to everyone. Good Work!

Tonight I ordered the AB with chicken and lamb, which was amazing. Probably the best AB I’ve ever had. Staff was very friendly and even gave me and the misso a sample of the chicken. Very Tasty! With their massive burger menu, and selection of other meals, I would recommend this spot to families, mates going for a feed, or even just a solo feed. Have ordered online before, but the in person experience is worth the petrol it takes to drive there! See you guys again soon!

I have had deliveries from here. Good sized portions, good chips and salads. I would order from here again. Reading some of the reviews made me shake my head. People work hard to get a business up and running. Note this keyboard disses: bet you wouldn't get off your a and start your own business!

Food is always fresh and well seasoned. The staff are always friendly whenever I pick up an order
