Clare Country Club

Went to play golf, great course, the greens were immaculate. Has a lot of challenges without having any bunkers!

Nice spot to spend a night. Nothing really flash, but met basic requirements. Clean and staff friendly.

A very quiet place for relaxation. The rooms are large and very comfortable, the staff all pleasant and helpful. I woke this morning to lots of bird song with very little background noise Right now (March 2020) the lake is almost dry and the whole area in drought so it isn't looking it's best. However, this hasn't stopped the wineries from making great wines so this is a great place to use as a base for touring the Clare and Watervale region.

Just to add to my previous review since I cannot re comment on your reply. Upon checkout there was not actually any mention of refund or apology. The only reason is that I lodged a formal complaint through Agoda who have arranged the reimbursement. Which I might add we have not yet received. Please don’t make your reviews out to look like you did the right thing in the first instance as it’s quite misleading.
Additionally making us wait while you helped a tour bus full of people instead of us who were checking in prior is quite disappointing. It seems like you are not interested in smaller travelling parties and prefer larger groups.

Amazing food, service made me feel welcome. Only stayed because cheaper accommodation was booked out but was pleasantly surprised it's not much more than lesser places. Wish I'd discovered it a few years earlier.

Average. High price, average product. Service great from Leanne and Kane, but ultimately not a great experience for the price.
Spa in room is tiny, does not fit 2 adults. No toaster. Mould in shower. NO Satellite TV. For a 'Country Club' at the price we paid, expected a lot more.
Views ok, but not 'spesh'. Ambience 4/5.
Overall. A lot to like and sadly, a lot to NOT.

Stayed for a weekend, Room was lovely, staff friendly and so helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was 5 star, amazing food and buffet breakfast on the Sunday, great. Will definitely come back.

Great country atmosphere & service, lovely location, only 2kms from main street of Clare. Very clean & comfy rooms. 2 thumbs up

My wife and I spent a night at the Clare County Club and enjoyed every moment. Our Apartment was excellent, spa was awesome, and dinner in the restaurant was really nice, breakfast in the morning was good.the staff were very polite and friendly and will nit hesitate to stay again in the future.

The rooms were very affordable, clean and well appointed. The staff polite friendly and helpful. The country club is a bit of gem. A dash of green in a parched countryside.

Room was lovely, spa even better. The food amazing and the service outstanding. Would highly recommend.

It has been a nice place but its quality is slowly degrading. A year ago it was almost perfect. These days it is not as clean as it used to be and is kind of "ok".

Stayed here Saturday night with 4 of our children and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Such a relaxing and lovely place. Breakfast Sunday morning just topped it off. We left there very full and happy with kids already asking when we can go back

Nice sized clean rooms and resort but very noisy during night and early morning above our room as it was under dining room.

Minor mix-up with the booking, but staff are lovely and the accommodation was exceptionally clean and spacious

Gorgeous place! Very friendly and professional staff. They young man working the night I went was very proper and very friendly. However the young lady serving us was atrocious. Dropping things, forgetting the orders, leaving before we had finished ordering. The young man however was much better, and engaged in conversation which my parents loved. The food was incredible, everyone said it was top notch. Would Definitley eat here again!

Ever since staying at the Clare Country Club I have been spammed by phone calls from various call centres trying to sell me accommodation packages at the Clare Country Club. Unfortunately the Clare Country Club were happy to pass on my contact details to these very aggressive marketing agencies, who are still calling me regularly even though I've requested to be removed from their database.

Went for drinks and was given small complimentary platter. Comfortable seats, lovely views and friendly service.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the great service from booking to check out made the stay relaxing. Great breakfast. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed for a great night's sleep.

A nice place to spend a few days.
Staff were nice and we walked into town and I recommend the place.
We have been over the years about 6 times nd would go back again.
Good on them for their effort to do well
