Chocolatree

Have come here several times on different occasions and food, drinks are great especially there hot chocolate. There is a whole page in there menu just dedicated to varies hot chocolate. My only critique to give is the decor of the place is very outdated and at back of the shop where there are more tables really needs a revamp. Especially the toilet, cleanness needs to be addressed there.
Apart from there great place to satisfy your sweet tooth

I went to Chocolatree tonight with two friends after we had eaten dinner at another venue. I'd never heard of Chocolatree before and was craving a good dessert on my cheat day, I was not disappointed. What sets Chocolatree apart from other dessert specialty venues is the variety of dishes with different flavour combinations. As this made it hard to decide on what to order it definitely entices me to return and try other dishes. I eventually decided to have the "AB Stack" which was brownie and waffle pieces with chocolate sauce, strawberries and chocolate ice cream in a sugar cone basket, absolutely amazing! The gentleman that took our order was friendly, polite and efficient, he clearly knew his business and the young girl who looked after us was also friendly and polite, and such a sweetheart. We will definitely be back on my next cheat day.

Really good food! The dining area needs a bit of work/updating but otherwise really nice. Have been here quite a few times and will return.

We booked a table for Saturday the 20th (weeks in advance for my aunties birthday) although the food was delicious the service was in my opinion ridiculous! We were given a $22.50 minimum for each person (which applied for my 6 year old who didn't eat much at all) and only allowed to order one food item and one drink each. After we had spent $157 on our food and 3 of us were still mid way through our shakes we were asked to leave so they could put people waiting on our table. I understand there are certain restrictions in place due to covid19 and I'm all for that, I just feel it's rude to ask us to leave when we are mid way through our shakes (which we had no other choice but to leave on the table) we had pre-booked to give them plenty of notice. Look after the paying customers you have instead of trying to make more money and get more people in. I won't be in a rush to go back purely because of this.

Excellent Desserts always makes me and my wife happy with the quality and the taste. The desserts are freshly made and served beautifully. The only thing I find annoying is the guy in specs, i was served by a girl on the counter and he keeps on shouting from the kitchen to me about the same thing which the staff memeber serving me was telling. I found it really annoying and it's not only once it has happened with me twice. It would be better if the staff on the front desk serves the customer not from the kitchen. But overall the place is fantastic and the best desserts in Adelaide.

The manager who is wearing glasses is very rude. I highly don’t recommend this place and will not go there again.

Whenever someone asks me if I know anywhere that does good food, this cafe instantly comes to mind. It hits the spot every. Single. Time.

Very good classic and salted caramel hot chocolate. Average fondu with pretty dead presentation. The menu was covered In dried up chocolate and the interior of the store could do with a refresh.especially the paint on the walls. Pretty well priced.

Overall decent experience.

I ordered a crepe with banana and caramel. Initially it was tasty however as it began to cool down, the crepe hardened. I believe it may have been microwaved, which essentially ruined it.

Great food and service but to small very crowded and noisy booking was not ready table given to other people had to wait untill they reorganized

Delicious and unique desserts. Always exciting to try a new variety every month (the Sept 2019 floral menu was probably the best we've ever tried). The black sticky rice on the normal menu is also really good. Fantastic friendly staff. Cute cozy place. Worth the wait, and get there before the menu hasn't sold out!

Used to love this place, I don't know if it's a management change or just my bad luck last couple of times my experience wasn't the best. Got a hazelnut mocha to go, the cup didn't have a proper lid, when asked for a proper lid the staff poured it in a smaller cup and said he can't do much else. Your coffee is not cheap, but your staff's attitude sure is.

Always great service and great food if you want a coffee or sweets. Only down fall I found is the fairy floss has been removed off of the candy bar crepe but apart from that all good.

Great dessert great taste. The only thing is to clean the outside area as it's a nice place to sit.

All places that serve hot chocolate should take a lesson from this place - made with good strength. Menu needs updating - some items not as described.

The coconut got chocolate here is lovely. So thick and creamy with a lovely coconut flavor. The atmosphere is nice, especially out the back but I got eaten alive by mosquitos. Just need to bring the repellent next time.

Guys! Try the Mudslide.oh my God dude. This place deserves a line up of 100 customers just for the Mudslide alone! Better than SanChurros or St Luis, Mud Slide. Mud slide. Lord it’s so good.

Poor. Over priced and disappointing. I had an iced mocha which was nice, but I couldn't finish my cheesecake. My wife's waffle was not fresh and not enjoyable. Even more dissatisfied by the fact we were charged extra to substitute the flavour of ice-cream. For a place that is meant to specialise in sweet treats we left with a sour taste in our mouths. We won't be back.

If your into stale waffles that have the consistency of a card board box - then i would highly recommend
