75Came in for a Saturday lunch. Slow service for drinks, for the price of the food it was very mediocre. It was ok, but I won’t be rushing back!
Hi my name is Domenica I went to chanti yesterday and it is my second time with my daughter Francesca. I order seafood of the day for our starters with was muscles and king white was gluten-free and dairy free With two pieces of breads were gluten free dairy free breads. For the main we order pasta gluten free dairy free and lamb was gluten free dairy free With dessert gluten free dairy free which was coconut with chocolate nuts and raspberry coating. Along with three moscatos two hot chocolate with lactose free milk.
We had a loving servers from young man with glasses, he was ready to server us able to tell us what was gluten free dairy free
Absolute best fine dining experience in Adelaide. The food and service is exceptional you won’t be disappointed. If you like authentic Italian cuisine then make sure you visit at least once in your lifetime.
One of the very finest restaurants in Adelaide
Seasonally prepared meals and superb service
We had an amazing night, the food was wonderful and Storm really looked after us. Storm is the consummate host, helping us choose our dishes and spending the time to understand and work around our daughters food allergies.
Strongly recommend you try Chianti and ask for Storm!
We will definitely be back!
Unfortunately, not a pleasant experience. We waited far too long between entrees and mains. Burrata entree with roasted capsicum was not well seasoned but at least fresh. The other entrees were okay. The herb focaccia wasn’t as fresh as I would have expected and seemed more like reheated bread - it was warm, dry and spongy. Both my daughter and I ordered the beef eye fillet ($55ea) and both were cold when arrived at the table. The waitress was apologetic and took them away. I guess I was expecting a fresh piece but the same pieces were returned and only slightly warmer. It would have been nice to be asked whether we wanted the beef reheated or offered an alternative? I would have thought that this to be standard practice? Anyway, at least management acknowledged their error and provided us with a limoncello each - shame that only my wife likes limoncello.
Attended for dinner and it was absolutely amazing. I had seafood spaghetti and it was excellent. Good wine, good atmosphere and great service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Italian restaurant.
5 star food and service. It's a very special experience at Chianti. I recommend dining here at least once for a special occasion!
An institution.
Without a doubt, always an amazing experience.
If you’re lucky enough, the great Maria Favaro may seat you herself.
Delicious
The food was great and the service was friendly whilst keeping the experience private. Will be back next time we're in Adelaide.
Got a $30 State Voucher & as we had not been to Chianti decided that was where we decided to go to use it.
Was not disappointed as the meal, wine, ambience & service was excellent
Immaculate everytime, wish i could eat there every night. Professional, precise, ticks all the boxes to a fussy eater, service, and venue. Must try. Polenta chips are insane!
Their food is so enjoyable. We love tasting some of the authentic Italian wines. The service is outstanding, best in Adelaide. Quite pricey $$$$ but you get excellence.
Definitely 5 star food and service. It was super busy when my friend and I arrived but the owner made an effort to say hello and serve us and regularly come over to see if we had been cared for.
The food was amazing as well. I had rabbit ragou gnocchi which i was abit skeptical about because rabbit tends to be gamey/pungent. This was not and I ended up wanting more. The size looked small but was more than adequate. The dressing on the apple and wardorf salad was light and refreshing. Big on flavor but not on oil. And the panna cotta was spectacular. My friend ordered the prawn pasta which she said was enjoyable as well. We were so bloated after the meal from eating too much that we couldn't walk!
Would definitely go back. And it's a place i would go out of my way to visit! I want to try everything on the menu!
My only complaint was that because it's so popular its very noisy and I'm not sure it's very child friendly even though they would welcome children. The tables arent very spaced out so their won't be much room for kids to run around.
Definitely made my week having the meal on Friday after work.
So glad we spotted this great restaurant in Sunday HeraldSun Escape Travel supplement during Winter! Gr8 choice of food, wines esp Chianti! & fabulous service!
Wonderful food and service from a limited menu. No trouble finding excellent dishes. A delight.
Chianti's food and service are impeccable. Best blue swimmer crab pasta in town, and the flourless chocolate beetroot torte is outstanding. I let the servers help with the wine choices, and I'm never disappointed.
Thought it was expensive for the size of the plates (small). Younger folk are likely to leave hungry. Service was good but Amalfi was far better value and more choice.
Loved the linen table cloths and cloth serviettes. Wait staff very good and food delivered with just the right time between courses. Oyster and scallop entrees were fabulous, pasta good and desserts devine.
Shared the most wonderful brunch with dear friends. The food was delicious, the coffee was perfect and the service first class.
