Ordered Mysore Dosa & Rava Onion Dosa through UberEats, the food was fresh and it was very tasty. Food was packed tightly and it arrived hot in my doorstep.
Right amount of Curry leaves added the actual flavour in the Cutney. Absolutely impressed with the cooking ability of the Chef and would like to give him or her the entire credit. Thanks to the team of Chennai Palace for sending the satisfactory meal in my door steps.

Celebrating our family anniversary with around 30 to 40 close friends & relatives at Chennai Palace in Walkerville was a remarkable experience. The food was an absolute highlight with a mouthwatering selection of traditional South Indian delicacies that left everyone delighted.
From muncy dosas to spicy curries, each and every dish was a taste of ultimate perfection.
The staff members were outstanding, ensuring our every need was met with grace and efficiency. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the event, making it even more special. Amazed by the Catering experience with Chennai Palace, Walkerville. These guys really made it happen in a function in our house.
There were 3 starters, 6 mains and few desserts, food was outstanding and beautifully presented.
Our guests appreciated a lot on food quality. The arrival of food was on time and bought fresh for the function.

Came on a Sunday to have goat biriyani but was not available. Had chicken biriyani instead. There was a board indicating fried pamphlet but was not available for Sunday lunch.

I was dining alone on a work trip. Vindaloo and garlic naan were amongst the best I've ever had.

Extremely poor service on a Saturday evening, orders placed never arrived on the table but charged in the bill, when requested to be taken off the bill they asked us whether we would like to pack our ‘Tea’. The lady who was apparently the manager was extremely rude when the issue was raised to her not just to the serving staff but also to us and started sharing irrelevant excuses for poor service. They completely forgot one of our orders and when we requested them to cancel it they brought it on the table and the manager blatantly lied that it took extra long time because the order was in queue. They also forgot one of the main dishes we ordered, however, they didn’t include that in the bill.

We have used this location for three of our events. Loved it every time. Kodi is very helpful and accommodating. Anbu is also great during the service, plus with his decorations as well. Very professional and warm. The food and service were both great as well. Definitely recommended.

Bad service, food was given before the plates and silverware, food that never arrived was billed for, absolutely arrogant lady manager who screamed at her staff and belittled customers. I can go on and on. Don’t recommend for a good experience. Adelaide has more.

If you crave for South Indian dishes, then this is place for it. Lovely ambience and wonderful service. All stars from me!

Visited this cosy lovely restaurant on the festival of Onam Sadhya and the spread was impeccable. From the quality of the food to the flavors and to the service. So many of the dishes were authentic and it has become my go to place whenever I want to taste a piece of home. Indian food done best.

Disrespectful staff and discriminating staff
The place doesn’t have their kitchen or food coordinated or in order.
Don’t know how to treat others and think of themselves to be above others and bullying them into agreeing with their terms or else …!

Arrived to the restaurant ordered our food it took 40 minutes to arrive for such a small Order the food arrived it was not cooked properly butter chicken was not so good naans were cold not such a good experience I do not suggest coming here and the customer service was extremely poor

-Attention Restaurant Owner-

I've been going to this restaurant for a while now and in general have found the food quite good. The service has always been sub-par, but its not in any way a reflection on the staff behaviour, since the staff are mostly well mannered except a lady (who I assume is the restaurant owner-atleast she acts so with the smug attitude). But they're probably understaffed/disorganised in the way they take and deliver orders.
Since they provide good South Indian food, we go here regularly (atleast twice a month). This is also the primary reason why we decided to attend their Kerala onam special lunch buffet for an outrageously expensive $37 per person. And we were a group of 30+ people collectively bringing them business worth $1200+. Their service that day was nothing short of horrible.
1. It took them forever to deliver the food that was pre-ordered.
2. And when it arrived one third of our group never got certain sides which were included in the advertised list of sides to be served. Apparently they ran out. Then why bother with pre bookings and taking numbers?
3. We had to wait long durations (for a few times sometimes upto 10-20 mins) in the middle of the meal for them to bring sides. 4. They never served several sides which were advertised.
5. Now, the main reason why I am writing this review, the rude lady (who I assume is the owner). When we raised that we never got the sides, she initially gave us an unpleasant look-as in somehow we had offended her. However when we were persistent to provide the lunch we paid for, she made a bunch of rude and inappropriate remarks, which I personally haven't encountered from any other restaurants in Adelaide. She single handedly managed to ruin the day for most of us. I feel for the other staff members who has to put up with such an arrogant and ill mannered boss. You might own the restaurant but we paid you for the service. And when you pay such an outrageously high amount in a restaurant like this, you expect some level of quality from the staff.
Perhaps the lady should stay away from the restaurant as much as she can and business would certainly improve. I am sure the rest of the reviews would corroborate my claims regarding this.
And let me reiterate how you have lost your business for 30 regulars customers. I would never recommend this place to anyone anymore.

We group of 4 went today, lady waiter was good. However, food wise we didn't enjoy at all.
Pathetic food and hygiene.
