Cave Gardens reviews
48Cute garden in the cbd! The garden was constructed in a sunken hole! Mt Gambier is interesting as it’s a town with sunken holes, underground caves, lovely hiking and running opportunities around the crater lakes - Blue and Valley Lakes.just so lovely!
Mt. Gambier is a beautiful town with lots of attractions. What makes this one great is its exceptionally located at the center of the town, totally hidden and unexpected.
We went here in March and didnt see the waterfall as in many pictures/reviews. But still it was enjoyable.
There were many bees, and foreign tourists walking in front of you when taking a photo, plus their screaming kids running around.
Amazing to see a natural sinkhole like this right in the town centre and open to public (at no fee). Surrounded by beautiful gardens.
Pretty gardens and well looked after. We enjoyed watching the sound and light show at night and walking around during the day. Loved the Wisteria covered pergola over the walkway. Just gorgeous!
The Cave Gardens are a must see in Mt Gambier. They are beautifully presented with a stunning rise garden. The Saturday market also has some lovely fresh produce from the community.
This place is something else theres a rare chance you'll ever see anything like this in your life again. If you have the opportunity to go here I would recommend it 100%
Great garden in the middle of the city. Easy access for the whole family, the ramps look like they would be suitable for wheelchair access, I think.
Close to pub, cafe and ice cream shops, so great to get a coffee or ice-cream and walk there in a couple minutes to enjoy in very pretty surroundings.
Pretty in summer and spring, but equally great when it's raining as storm water makes a great waterfall into the cave.
Well worth a visit, totally free.
