A sinkhole on the middle of the town which make itself special.
It's also close to the library and the cityhall.
It would be nicer if there is water flowing down but unfortunately it was all dried up when I visited.

Another brilliant place to visit in Mount Gambier.
Is such a beautiful place to be able to take great photos.

When people say Mount Gambier is a hole, I imagine this is what they are talking about.

As far as holes go, this ones worth a stop.

Beautifully tended gardens and plenty of spots to enjoy the scenery, also a big hole.

Best time to visit is just after a big summer storm, when the drain.err, waterfall is in full swing

One of the many have-to-see in the area. Beautiful place and only takes about 10mins to see. Right next to the shopping district.

Have a big sniff of the flowers mate alright, just don't go snortin up the bee's, or you will not enjoy your time at the gardens

A well maintained park right in the centre of the city. Well worth a visit moreso just after a shower of rain. The town storm water drains into hereand provides a spectacle worth seeing.

Cave gardens ok but not as nice as tourist pictures. Not maintained and we visited in summer so no waterfall. Rubbish and shopping trolleys thrown into cave spoiled the cave

Very pretty area. Shame that there are supermarket trolleys at the bottom of the caves. Well worth visiting.

Amazing place and worth a visit in center of Mt Gambia. Nighttime perfections of dream time story and its own history.

Disappointed.
Abandoned shopping trolleys, rubbish and a bike is what you will see here.
Recommended by lovely young lady at tourist information. Someone attends the rose gardens surrounding cave garden beautifully.
For an attraction in the centre of town its pretty sad to visit unless you want to smell the Roses.
I put my camera away that sad.

Located on the center of the main market. Beautiful roaes are on the park. Small area occupied by this cave. Can have a good experience for the people who have never seen cave. Need be very careful for the people with their children. People are making mess on the this cave. Seen some coles trolley and lots of rubbish. Care taker seems to be in sleep mode. You can have a quick visit on your way.

Loved the gardens and well worth the visit. Well maintained and the huge hole sets it apart from other gardens.

Was a wonderful experience. There were lots of bees and small birds. Lots greenery and cave formations with water still dripping and developing.

Well worth stopping for a look. Pity about the shopping trolley and drink cans strewn around the floor of the cave.

After seeing the Umpherston Sinkhole the cave garden was a bit of disappointment. But while on a trip to Mount Gambier there is no harm to drop in here for five minutes just to give you the peace of mind that you haven't missed seeing this one.
