Cavan Steak Van

Today we stopped at the Cavan steak van and tried the steak sandwich with the lot. It was very very delicious and appetizing full of flavor and well worth having.

I love the steak, egg and onion sandwiches. I have been coming to the Cavan steak van for decades and it still has that unique taste.

My God my god this is the Grail ov steak sandwige ow have mercy the best they even how's this the steak is cut up like shredded so even if u haven't got any choppers in your head u can eat this the chips ar the best well iym only going by whot on the menu bord.their is much much more to chose from.this steak van sell FLAVOR pluss

Been coming to this place since the mid 80's usually grab a steak sandwich, tried a baramundi burger last time, it was good.

I bought 4 hamburger’s they tasted like cheap frozen patties. Complete waste of money.
What ever happened to Quality food. Before the hut was done up the food was great. Not now. I will never go back there again in my life.

I haven't been here in years and it's still one of the best steak sandwiches in Adelaide if i lived or worked close by I'd be there every week

Service is fast and friendly. The food is really fresh and delicious. The steak sandwiches are the best.

You can't get a steak sandwich with the lot anywhere else that does them this good! Great munchy snack or for something while your working. Service can be a bit yeah how ya going sometimes but that's like any place.

Great food. Would be 5 stars if they got some nice staff to serve instead of the mean old ladies

The woman working was quite angry and food super slow. She was getting the orders wrong and not using her own docket system, just reading out the orders not the allocated number. Sad to see an adelaide institution fall so far. Likely wont be back

Good menu with a great variety of steak sandwiches and hamburgers all reasobably priced for a good cheap meal.
Personally i enjoy the steak sandwiches with the lot and they are so thick i have trouble getting it into my mouth.
The steak is finally cut and tender not like other places that have a fatty steak that you cant bite through or chew.
The outside eating area is well protected from the elements.
Definitely worth visiting for a good feed

Fast clean fresh and you get hungry when you're eating it tastes so good steak with the lot is my choice and chips yum yum yum

Loved coming here of late but now prices for a sandwich are a little ridiculous. Because of this we will unfortunately go elsewhere now.

Great service friendly great service with a smile when giving you ur food light on oil and fabulous steak sandwiches

Not as good as it used to be, they now use shredded steak instead of a whole slice, it's ok but not quite the same flavor as before.
