Cavan Steak Van

Without doubt, you will never find better hot chips anywhere! Their steak sandwiches are brilliant too. Difficult to drive past this place if you're feeling the least bit hungry!

Sandwiches are hot beautifully made.
Hot chips I had were hot with soft fluffy centre lovely.
Burger with the lot was on point absolutely delicious.
Always get very tasty food from the Cavan Steak Van and it's Hot and fresh made to order. Highly recommend.

Great value, really tasty food served quickly. Great after a big night or when you need a proper feed.

Shelley (the old lady, I think that's her name) is so rude and seems a bit racist as she has a total different personality if you're a white customer. Would not recommend this place, worst customer service I've ever experienced, she had the worst attitude and yells at customers. Even if the food is good, people like this do a good job of making sure customers don't come back.

Been away for 10yrs and now home for awhile and I don't know how they have done it the steak sandwich are better than they were been a customer on and off since they were over the road and never had anything but great food and service yummm

Every time we through adelaide enroute to perth, always stop cavan steak van, steak sandwich for brunch, they are the best

Their burgers and chips are possibly the best available North of Adelaide so easy to pick up on the Port Wakefield Rd. Staff are always friendly too.

A northern staple, not really a "van" as it was in the old days, but they still make a mean bacon and egg sanger.

The best steak sammy I’ve had in Adelaide! $10 for a steak sandwich with the lot and I couldn’t fault it. Good size. Good flavour. 100% value for money. Plus the staff were lovely!

I keep coming back. It's a great lunchtime feed. The steak burger with chips and a can of Coke it good value. I can eat. Real I eat way to much, this is the place that satisfies an old bear like me. Yum. The chips are really good.

It doesn't look like much from the street. You will be surprised. Picnic table and chairs under a verandah.
There's been a steak burgers outlet here forever. Good times

Great food, a bit overpriced but very tasty. Service on Sunday could do with an extra staff member and a bit better attitude.

Steak sandwich with the lot. Great.
My wife had the Barramundi burger and said it was terrible.
Chips a bit average.
But the guys who work there are amazing.

Need to update your closing times that's why you only got 2 stars. It says you close at 8pm every night, thought I'd go and get a burger at 7.30 and you were already shut. Please update your hours and I'll up my stars.

Im sure thousands will agree but the service and quality of that melt in your mouth steak Sanga left me wanting more.

Really gone downhill lately. Cold food and a rude old lady who can't understand how when she burns your first schnitzel and leaves your chips in a container for 15 minutes while she cooks another one that your chips are now cold. Maybe time to upgrade staff.
