Fast service, professional staff. Good iced coffee. Funky decor. Can book online. Also can order at the counter or order and pay online at the table using the qr codes. I had waffles which was yummy.

A wonderful place of relaxation, respite and happiness.a place for a delicious meal,   a coffee with a friend, or a wind down drink accompanied by their many talented live music regulars. Kind and accommodating staff and management Cafè Komodo is the place to be.

After waiting what seemed like an eternity for our order, we were left disappointed and hungry.
Coffee tasted burnt, burgers were bland and messy.
Service was beyond terrible. The female manager (Remi) was rude and unhelpful. She spoke in such a degrading way to another customer before us loud enough for the entire place to hear that we already knew what the outcome was going to be like when we approached her about our meal.

We came here (decent travel too as we are not locals) after reading some great reviews however it seems like the reviews were made some time ago as what we experienced did not match up.

Overall, would not recommend.

What a delightful experience eating here. Location is perfect, it is quiet and feels so relaxing being in the Cafe, the outdoor seating area is perfect at brunchtime when the sun is out. Food came out quickly and our party of 5 all enjoyed our meals. The iced coffee was done perfectly. I will be revisiting again for sure to try more from the menu. The chicken caesar salad and the poached eggs were fantastic

Friendly, helpful staff, but you need technology to get a menu (this I don't like), but food was big serves and delicious.

Really vibrant and cosy place to go. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the cuisine is more of an Australia brekky burunch menu and it was delicious. Definitely try the bruschetta with the pesto sauce. Will definitely come back and try more stuff. Highly recommended!

First visit and loved the place, from the retro style to the friendly staff, and good food and coffee. Only ate something small, so going big next time. Has a very chilled feeling about it. Defintely returning.

Venture down the vine covered passage to this cafe treat. Delicious vegan options and coffee in a relaxed and eclectic atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Ive been to Cafe Komodo quite a few times now and tried lots from their menus (breakfast, dinner and lunch!). Everything has been amazing and the service is always super friendly. Coffee is great too! Live music makes it even better.

Cafe Komodo is my new favourite place! The food was incredible, so so so delicious. Felt like i had died and gone to heaven when I took that first bite The coffees were amazing as well, 10/10 best coffee ever had. The food came out hot and fresh but quickly too which I love. Also the pricing of the food is great, especially for the amazing quality of the food that you get.
The staff were incredibly friendly and so helpful. They have a thing where you can order from your table either scanning a QR code or downloading their app (highly recommend to download the app). I love this feature because it saves having to go up to the counter and order (which you can also do if you like), which is great if people get nervous ordering or simply don't want to leave the table.
I love how the entrance is down a little alleyway sort of thing. And the decorations and aesthetic of the inside is lovely. It has a very relaxed atmosphere.
I can not wait to go back! I'm going to be talking about this place so much my friends will get sick of me

There were fourteen family members at our table on a busy Saturday brunch. Every person was impressed with their meal and drinks that came quickly were visibly impressive and soo yummy. The attention to detail afforded us at such a busy time was appreciated
We all wished we lived at Prospect but would indeed travel the distance again. Thank you Andrew and staff very well done

Cool and quirky cafe built into, what I have to assume, used to be a house. Modernity meets classic flavours in this dog friendly cafe to make a comfortable, welcoming spot for a light snack or meal.

I love the ambience, it's quite cozy and unique. The staff are very nice, extremely polite and professional. The menu has tons of variety for vegetarian / vegan customers such as myself, I loved that because rarely am I spoilt for choice at an all day brekkie Cafe. The food was delicious and made fresh. Would love some fresh fruit juice options too though. All in all, I can't fault this place as such and would love to visit again! Thank you!

Andrew is a great host and has really made a great hidden spot of Prospect a magnetic attraction for both regular and new customers that come to enjoy a great ambient and a wide range of locally produced drinks and food.

Don't miss out on the chance of meeting this place that breaks with the standards of most regular Coffee shops to bring you into a whole new little world that can only be matched by the novelesque cafés from the book of Victor Hugo.

Great spot for food. Good selection of foods catering for vegan and vegetarians coffee was nice and strong and staff all polite.
