Cafe Komodo.

I think I've found my new hang out! I legit sat there for hours enjoying the retro, colourful design of the café whilst taking in the memories that had clearly been enjoyed in the past. Of course the great food and staff only added to my enjoyment. Definitely see you soon:)

Cafe Komodo's music, crockery, cutlery, furniture and the atmosphere reflected a retro nostalgia. It brought back good memories from my childhood. My poached eggs were perfect! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. My hubby, BFF and I love this place

So glad this place reopened! Excellent food. Well priced. Staff and service were fantastic. They cater for gluten free needs very well! Including their desserts. If I could give more stars I would.

Staff are so lovely, you can order online straight to your table which is awesome. You also get a $5 voucher when downloading their app - how good! Support your local and come to this lovely place.

Cafe Komodo is great, the food is always delicious, I am totally addicted to their chicken burger and range of tasty aiolis!

The scones are yummy, with jam and fresh cream. Also they make and sell coeliac friendly gluten free cheesecake and carrot cake which are both delicious!

They've even thought of the customers during these covid times, and you can scan a qr code or download the komodo app to order and pay for food at your table too so no need to go in to the counter if you prefer not to.

The staff are friendly and relaxed and I love the 60's surf vibe and garden courtyard setting.

Often has live music and fringe performers also gig here. Well worth a visit.

I got served by a sweet Mediterranean girl who was so patient and understanding of our dietary requirements. The halloumi burger was fantastic!

Service was hip and cool. Had the chicken burger which was a chicken mince patty and out of a packet I suspect. Nice relaxed space.

Servings are mediocre. Food is either bland or a concoction of bad ingredients.
Also needs more coffee training.

The service varies dependant on who is working front of house. Its as if some has never worked a day in customer service or just genuinely hate their job. They would rather shuffle customers out as quickly as possible rather than providing a nice atmosphere.

It really is a shame as this used to be a nice breakfast stop but now I'd rather take my business elsewhere.

I've enjoyed this place the few things I've gone. But it had a nice atmosphere and the food has been awesome.

I often have breakfast, while face timing my dad in the USA. Eggs to perfection, mushrooms, asparagus and toast. A good mug of coffee.

Definitely encourages a return visit, and there is merch just for your dog Moo Moo and I will definitely have to get a table.

Nice walk down the path off Prospect Rd to this little gem. Great location and comfortable atmosphere. Staff are friendly and service is great. If passing you must to for a coffee and a meal. I looks like Dog friendly in the courtyard.

I've come here numerous times, but the visit today was TERRIBLE, and the service from Remi (the manager) was worse than terrible - I honestly don't think I'll come back again.

First, the online ordering system is shocking. We ordered a hamburger, and put through a gin tea! Even our receipt confirmed a burger.

I tried to show the manager the mistake (remi), and she was extremely unhelpful and rude. She blamed us for the mistake, would not offer any compensation (even after a SERIES of mistakes) and did not handle the situation well at all. She also appeared frantic and stressed, even though it was not that busy.

I would not recommend anyone to eat here.

UPDATE: This is what the restaurant posted on their Facebook page after I left my review. Clearly this restaurant does not have a clue about customer service lol!

Food was fantastic along with awesome service. The staff member even sang Happy Birthday to my daughter. Can't fault this venue. They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was safe (anaphalactic to egg). Thank you so much. Highly recommend & will be back

Excitedly encouraged all my family to come here as I thought the vegan food was excellent but sadly had an awful experience with poor customer service from both the manager and owner. Not just a bad experience, but possibly my worst customer service experience ever.

We enjoyed The Poke Bowl with Wasabi Mayo and Warm vege salad with grilled Haloumi, highly recommended.
