Cafe De Vilis

Have always enjoyed Vilis at Mile End, especially when the great man himself is frying the chips. But it's always great value regardless. Tried Vilis on Main North Rd for a change and obviously it's the same fare and so much more than pies and pasties. The pork schnitzel meal is terrific value, for example. There are menu surprises galore. Really, for an inexpensive sit-down meal, you won't find better.

Friendly staff, efficient service, clean tables and bathrooms. Pies have good amount of filling, pastry is not soggy, nice and hot.

Very rude the lady at customer service I asked her if she could turn aircon off she said she cannot remotes are with manager I cannot do anything. Very rude while serving the food and coffee as well this is first and last visit

It's an Adelaide icon. Great food. Great prices. Great opening hours (it's 24/7). Got the munchies at 3am it's open with all day breakfast.

Great place. Home styled meals 24/7. No matter if its anything like a simple pie with sauce or a full blown, plate full, breakfast. Not a place to miss.

Great for a quick feed and always open. Would have been 5 stars but they keep running out of Goulash pies which for Vilis, is a travesty.

Its the best we go there after rocknroll dancing staff are fantastic thats why we go back to relax have a coffee laugh lots of that and the staff dont mind as we are very happy people

Large selection of drinks and food. Food doesnt take long to come out. Staff are friendly. Customers seem confused as to where to order. Not sure how as there are signs as to where to go.

Very convenient, open all hours, usual range and quality of diner food. Service is reasonably quick, food is usually hot. Plenty of choices both sweet and savoury. Not cosy, more like a food court. Stark, white lighting, practical more than ambient. Easy enough to get a seat. Tables and chairs, some bench seats available. Bathrooms, outdoor seating, wheelchair access, minimal parking. Can be difficult exiting onto main road.

Great food as is associated with the name! Service was fast and very friendly. Prices were very reasonable and facilities were clean. Parking was a little lacking but only because it was a busy day. Great place to eat.

Staff are very polite and helpful, and the place is clean! If you are looking for a great place to have breakfast then this is the place! They are open 24/7 and have awesome food, even schnitzel’s with a variety of toppings. Great selection of anything you would like to eat.

Lucky the food is so good, the service was poor, the chubby blonde girl that served me could barely manage a smile. I felt bad asking what was in the roll that I bought, for causing her inconvenience.
