Chips were lovely. Reminded me of home cut & cooked. Coorong mullet was also good. Crumbed sausage was actually a crumbed hotdog but tasty still.

Fairly average. Chips were a bit soggy and looked grey and unappealing. They got a couple of minor things wrong with our order. Nothing was terrible, but not great either. We wouldn't go back in a hurry.

The best chips I've ever had and I'm not a chip eater. And the first takeaway place I've ever came across to make their own chips. Totally blown away by the quality and taste plus the value for money and friendly service.

Yum! The butterfish were huge and delicious! The best part though was the freshly cut spuds to create the most delicious chips! When in Goolwa, this is a must for family treat!

From the First chip I had I knew something was different as it tasted like potato. Find out these guys do their own chips in store. WOW. From peeling to cutting. I loved them, didn't taste like oily mush. Topped off with friendly service.

Worst chips. Ive had in a long time, with no salt on them at all. Even though asked for extra salt. As well as found everyone quite rude. Will not recommend.

Best chips in South Australia fresh potatoes, cut, blanched and cooked the original way, so much better!

Ok, so im not a big fish and chip fan simply due to the oily heavy batter.
This place however was by far the best fish and chippery I've been to since I can remember!
The gar, butter fish, and flake I had (shared) were excellent! Not overcooked and the batter was light, tasty and not over oily, the chips are made fresh in house and again cooked very well with perfect crunchy little ones. The others also had dimmies and dippy dogs all without complaint and the pineapple fritter was the best my wife's had.
The place was flat out yet we were served politely and promptly.
Sorry for the essay but it was all worth the mention ;)
We're visiting the area for a few days and we'll be back without a doubt.
Excellent place!

Beautifully cooked, better crisp, chips crispy on outside and soft inside. All served very promptly and piping hot.

I had take away from here a few times. It was hit and miss the first time, but the last time I went there in Jan 19 the food was pretty good.
Have been here again in Jan 20. Staff again were friendly but chips had no flavor when compared to the other chippery.

Worse chips we have ever had! Fish wasn't fresh and looked so dry in the display! Fish was overpriced too. Won't be back.

Worst chips I have ever tried in 45 years! Order took 35 minutes only to be served incredibly under-cooked white soggy chips and bland, soggy fish. Horrible! It was a busy weekend but seriously if you can only deliver what is in this photo, tell people you can't take more orders. There were other dinner options nearby we could have utilized.

Food was good but it was very busy. I had to wait another 30min after the time they gave me to pick up my phone order. Staff were clearly stressed out.

Yummy food and fast service. Went in with mum after ordering food to be ready at 12: 45. Walked in at 12: 35 and food was ready exactly 10 min later. Thank you Cadell St fish and chips

I just ate a scrumptious lamb Yiros. No fat on meat, crunchy lettuce and onion, with tasty fresh tomato. Nice wrap, not too thick. Very impressed. Dialled for takeaway, they said 15 mins. By the time I got there and paid, it was a 2min.wait. Also value for money. The very best about this particular fish shop is it’s unique hand made chips and beautifully clean, no matter what time or day you go in there. Winner all round.
Thank you Cadel Street Fish &chips.

Good ole fashioned fish and chips, potatoes hand cut along with beautiful fresh fish sourced locally.

Hand cut chips need I say more. Always a variety of fresh fish available, the best fish and chips in goolwa and surrounding towns. Definitely worth a visit even if you need to travel it's worth it, especially if you sit down in the beach and enjoy.

Waited 25 minutes for our food, fish and chips were very greasy.it was busy at the time and this may not be indicative of their normal service.
