68The schnitzels are great but I think they used to be better and the salad was pathetic, but that's not unusual for a pub. Great atmosphere, good service.
Went to The Broady for tea Friday night. Ordered straight away and waited 45 minutes for our pretty basic meals. Wasnt very busy in the Bistro so dont know what the delay was. I had the Garfish which was nice, wife had stuffed chicken breast which looked like it had been cooked on the sun. Cremated basically. Wife didnt want to say anything. I filled out review card on counter but wont be going back anytime soon. Very disappointed.

The new beer garden is so fantastic! Tastefully decorated and friendly staff. Was here for the Surf Lifesaving World Championships 5 weeks ago.my experience then was not so good with rude staff in bistro not being accommodating with allowing us to move some chairs so our group could sit together. However today they redeemed themself thus my 5 star rating. Will definitely be back. The beer garden is a winner and child friendly.
The staff member in the dining room area was rude and pushy. Made us feel very unwelcomed. For that we wont come back again. Food was alright. Small portions. Some was over cooked. The amount of chips on the plate is enough for a childs serving. Very disappointing. Ruined a night out.

Have been going here for 4 years. The food is great and mostly at good prices. There is also the salad bar which is included with meals. There is always a good atmosphere and is busy most of the time. They also provide good service at special events like AFL grand finals and other sporting event functions. My only complaint would be that in the 4 years I have been going here, the chip portion that comes with some meals has gotten smaller. More please!
