Broadway Hotel

Great pub in the side streets of Glenelg. Meals are priced ok and menu has plenty to choose from.

Just been to the Broadway Hotel Bistro LOVE, LOVE, LOVED the Moroccan lamb backstrap was so tasty and if you think the lamb was the best bit. WELL WRONNNG! The salad was awesome. My husband had the roast which was just as good.
We usually don't have dessert because most of the time its just shop bought and never does the meal justice but we went "what the hey" and decided to share a apple crumble with vanilla bean icecream and anglaise SO GOOD! The icecream was home-made and the anglaise was so creamy and if I had of known it was going to be that good we would have got two.
Thank you chef you instilled faith in great cooking we will so be back.

Appalling service. Waiting staff wouldn’t allow us to sit at a table at 2pm because it had been set for the 6pm dinner service. One of those annoying establishments where the staff believe patrons should feel privileged to dine there.

Food was good to average.
But two waitresses were rude/ bad mannered. They made u feel like they were doing us a favor, for allowing us to go there for lunch.
I would think twice about going back.

Awesome place! We had a great time in the Beer Garden today. Special thanks to Kirstie who was amazing. All the staff were friendly and helpful, great food and good atmosphere, highly recommend!

Dogs not welcome in the beer garden. Just so you know. We went around the outside. Quiet time. If you have a well behaved fur buddy go elsewhere. “I am not trying to make you feel uncomfortable - I am sorry that I reached out to seek some clarity. I can assure you though that animals are not allowed in licences premises. Happy for you to return but if not - all good. ” I do not feel welcome to return.

We had read there was a full separate vegan menu when in fact there were only 4 vegan meals on the regular menu and one of these was a child's meal!
Steak and roast beef were both very chewy with the roast being quite fatty. Kids' meals were great with ice cream included. Vegan curry and vegan burger were both good.

Just okay food, friendly service and atmosphere, although waited about 50mins for food on a weeknight though. Would probably go elsewhere before returning.

First time there, we were pleasantly surprised at the ambience, friendly staff, good food, generous helpings, the beer garden was a hidden gem. Can't wait to take friends there.

One of the nicest vegan Thai curries I've had, friendly staff with nothing too much trouble. Surprisingly good range of vegan options.

Lunch was average at best had fish felt part of it was frozen left on side of the plate, partner had schnitzel though it was tasteless

Good food and beverages. Friendly staff. Bars for any age group. Seniors Card discounted meals too. Great pub, try it out. Beach at end of the Broadway

Meal was good and reasonably priced. The only criticism would be the buffet could be improved, not a great selection. Quite a busy hotel and I would suggest booking if you plan on dining there on a Sat night.

Had a fantastic evening, loved the vegan menu and loved the vegan food. The staff were friendly and efficient and didn't make the pesky vegan family feel like we were an imposition. Good job.

Prompt friendly service, good salad bar with plenty of variety. Reasonably priced meals, just a bit lacking in imagination but quality is good

I took a japanese friend here for a meal. It wasa little rowdy, with quite a young crowd.i had porterhouse steak, it was well executed with a nice twist on the seafood sauce just a hint of sourness.my friend had the seafood platter which was also very good and decent serve, it would suit two light eaters.overall a good experience.

Staff have very good customer service.always smiling and very helpful
