Broadway Hotel

Wow.dont know if its Covid19 or Pubs & Resturants are really pulling out all the stops. Tha standard of service, food and alcohol choices has always been good (in most places) in South Australia but at the moment the standard has been consistently high in all places we have visited in last 12mths. This includes the Broadway Hotel. Been twice in less than 2mths both times with the same people, all happy with food, service, drinks and price. Staff extremely friendly, except for mask wearing, but that's their job to remind us, if we stand up, masks must be ON. Local pub for for 4 of the group and they say it its always consistently good for eating and socialising. We were there for a birthday party and it was a big group (legal numbers!) And everyone was happy.

Excellent, comfortable hotel, great meals, fantastic service and very affordable, if I could give them 6 stars, I would want to give them 7.

Food was really tasty & their beer garden is really nice to hang out with friends & colleagues. Good service.

I ate off the seniors menu and I found the meal to plenty for me. The drinks were quite reasonable in price. So all in all, a good experience.

So disappointed. Long time local supporter.

Absolutely tosser behind the bar was on a power trip and wouldn’t even treat me as a human being.

In times when hospitality is doing it so tought, shocks me that staff could behave in such a manner.

Will never return to this establishment.

Ordered a chicken schnitzel with Hawaiian topping. Schnitzel was small and the crumbs were soggy. Also ordered tomato bruschutta and a friend had the tapas plate. Bruschutta was a single piece of toast, it was heavily topped, but the topping wasn't great. The tapas plate was poorly done and was mostly left uneaten. I don't recommend eating at this venue. It's OK for drinks, as the beer garden is quite well done.

Old tired pub. Food was uninspiring. Service was non existent. Needs time and money spent to make it a more inviting environment. Won't be returning or recommending to any one.

Would have been 5 stars but there just has to be more mashed potatoes than a baby chino cup on the lambs fry. How about two dollop?

Had a private room. Ten of us enjoyed a lovely meal and due to it being quiet we could actually talk to each other without shouting. Food was really nice. Had a senior's meal and there was plenty of food. Quite enjoyable. Will be gpoing back.

Enjoyed a fab lunch today. We ordered Thai salad with salt and pepper calamari, and curry of the day.

Would have been a 5 because my meal was quite nice, however, the roast of the day was a brisket which was quite dry. Brisket should be low and slow ;)

The service, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere is spot on.
The food was delicious, our table of 5 had a variety of mains and desserts, each one we would recommend to our friends and family.
Keep up the great work, we will be back.

Great venue, a little loud made it hard to hear conversations but easily overcome.by moving away from the stage.

Good and reasonable price meals. Service was good. Staff were very helpful as it's the first time I have been there in ages.

I love this place. Staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. Order a drink and they remember it next time. When that happens, I feel they're making an effort to serve customers, and yeah, there's a warm fuzzy glow effect. Good vibes, no, no no its Gr8 vibes.
Why didn't I give 5 stars? Only coz bit far from the beach. Lol

Good atmosphere on a Saturday night after meal, few drinks in adjoining bars. Smokers persecuted and kicked out in the elements.

Management need to look at the front-line people not one of them made you feel welcome in the Beer Garden. Perhaps the owner needs to stand back and look into his business! Not keen to go back.

Enjoyed our meals. I had the very tasty Roast Pork with just enough yummy gravy on top and plenty of apple sauce (served in a separate dish) and then Sticky Date Pudding which so light and simply delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable with a good selection on the menu.

Took an hour for food to come out and another 15 mins for the starters. There were bones found in the battered fish n chips which was also disappointing. The rest of the dishes were good but perhaps that was because we were really hungry!

Mucked up booking didn't deter staff from accommodating us, grouse food, well done to all.
