Understaffed /floor had not been swept from Previous shift/A/C SOOOO cold had to sit outside /
Toilet roll holder broken in toilet / Exhaust Fans in bathrooms were black.
Cream and jam were “MIXED”on same dish?
And table remained cover with dirty dishes for quite some time.
Coffee was nice?

We go to bracegirdles all the time but I have never written a review for it. The food is always delicious and the drink are wonderful. The chocolates are some of the best you can get in mclaren vale. Staff are always kind and friendly, service is also really good. I recommend it to anyone who is going to visit Mclaren Vale.

Deep fried brownie! Who would have known. Not to mention banana split re-invigorated. Nephew growled at me when I went to try his waffle so I can't vouch for that. Worth the trip.

Nice services every thing was nice apart from the big strip of plastic stripper in the nice home made fruit toast chocolates we're Absolutely wonderful would definitely go back

Great service, good food.

I had a lovely celebration with my work colleagues here. Without thinking I ordered a drink and didn't specify that I needed it to be lactose free. I ended up asking them if they would mind amending my order and they were very kind and obliging.:) I would definitely go again.

The only suggestion I have is that it would be helpful if food that could be made gluten free was specified on the menu. I felt a little awkward asking if various items were gluten free until I finally got one that was! The staff were very obliging and tried to be as helpful as possible though.

Delicious breakfast. The hot chocolates are always so silky and smooth, and the choice between milk, white or dark chocolate is amazing! My go-to is the waffles with choc and strawberries. More than once my waffle has been overcook which is disappointing, however the flavours hid this well. I look forward to my next meal

Waited 40 minutes when the wife's burger turned up, the bacon on it was burnt black. She had asked for raw onion, & paid the extra for it, & it was on it. Tables left with plates on them the entire time we were there with the spogy birds eating off them, pretty ordinary really.

Pleasant relaxing environment. Can sit indoors or outside. Pleasant staff. Good service. Delicious food - sweet and savoury. Great coffee.

These people make it laughably easy to give a poor rating. Tables were not wiped down or cleared in the 30 plus minutes we were there. Waited for the coffees, only one of which had a teaspoon and that had clearly been used and not washed. By the time we'd finished our coffees we still hadn't received our scones. Eventually went to ask for them when we'd been waiting half an hour. Jam and cream came together in one tiny pot. A teaspoon of each is my guess. And who puts down 2 plates in front of one person when there are two of you at the table? Lots of staff on so that's not the issue. Won't be back. Plenty of other options in McLaren Vale.

Only had coffee this time, which was excellent. Have been before and I can recommend their dark hot chocolate with soy milk which is vegan and luxurious

Best chocolate cake I've tasted. Coffees and carrot cake were pretty good too. (Shame) this place attracts so many mums with young children.

Great for business but very noisy for other diners especially when adventurous youngsters have to be rescued after getting stuck climbing trees.

We went here this morning, ordered breakfast and waited an hour and 20mins. Even coffee orders took an hour. Not good enough kitchen. You need more staff

First time today for brunch. Not bad will go back if in the area. Average prices worth a visit if you areafter something casual

Lovely menu, we just went for coffee and cake, ask for hot coffee, by the time I finnished my small cake it was cold. Loved the free water options we filled our bottle with sparkling water. Will go again and try the menu which ranges in price from under $20 to over.

Waiting for more than one hour and twenty minutes for breakfast (piece of banana bread and a layered yoghurt muesli) - not acceptable!

Bracegirdles in beautiful Mclaren Vale is a gorgeous place for a date. Whether it be a coffee date, brekky date or even a lunch date. Their food is always fresh delicious hot and timely.

Some may find the downside being the prices but this isn't a run of the mill cafe it's an experience in itself to sit back under the veranda with a homemade iced coffee/fresh smoothie talking with your loved ones about the days activities. My partner had one of the strawberry smoothies and was excited when she realised there were strawberry pips in it. (None of this syrup stuff)

The range of chocolates and cakes is amazing as well and if i recall correctly they also cater for vegetarians and vegans!

If you haven't been it's definitely worth going.

Ordered 2 large Mocca's, 1 large milk hot chocolate and a large arctic chocolate and the actic choc was the only one made as a large. Waited 25 minutes for this takeaway order. Really disappointed in service.

Very pleasant place, with excellent food and service.a wonderful surprise to find the place. Super collection of chocolates.

Very enjoyable lunch. Ate too much. Love dipping fruit in chocolate and their Arctic Ice drink. Friendly staff.
