Stepping in to this beautiful cafe was like being welcomed into someone's home. The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere cosy and the food was sooo good! Highly recommend this one.

An absolute institution for chocolate. Great service, the seating is ample and the range of food Great.

Food was disappointing and expensive. 2 serves of poached eggs came very over cooked and the big breakfast and smashed avo were both bland. Asked for no garlic on one dish (as confirmed by the kitchen) and tomatoes were covered in visible garlic. Do not recommend.

I had an iced chocolate and it was absolutely delicious! Lovely staff and a very nice place altogether! My only complaint is that it is slightly pricey, it was $9.50 for an iced chocolate, which is on the more expensive end. Overall though great place, would definitely recommend!

Yes the hot chocolate was lovely I suggest you stick to what you are good at. Ordered the chorizo squid salad on the specials board and it was very poor quality. Squid was under cooked, tomatoes looked and tasted like they were cut days before rocket was showing signs of rot. Very disappointed. I did let the waitress and there was no response from chef or management.

Enjoyed our breakfast we had yesterday and Staff were all lovely to deal with. Would definitely go back

Lovely ambiance at this cafe - great sandwiches and iced drinks. Tempting cakes and pastries and dont look at the chocolates!

Hmmm, used to be alot better. Meals came out at different times meaning one of us was eating while the other was waiting or had finished. Apple crumble waffle didn’t taste very fresh and it appeared to be stewed apple from a jar instead of apple slices as advertised. Not worth $20. And perhaps a screen on the front door would be nice to prevent the huge blowflies flying around you while you eat. Chicken burger was reportedly nice.

Bracegirdles McLaren Vale remains there best store. Service and staff are A1 and nothing here dissapoints. My bestie and I used to frequent and now I've moved 5 hours away we still catch up there when I'm in town. I also use their chocolate belgian buttons at home for making hot chocolates when I'm away.

We had lunch. The food and service were exemplary. So welcoming. Could not recommend more.

Very nice burger and chips but the lentil shepherds pie was a bit disappointing. Pretty small and with some limp spinach on top.

What a great surprise - 1st visit to McLaren Vale at Bracegirdle's & lunch was sensational. Amazing menu & desserts featuring beautiful Belgium chocolate fully satisfied us. Will be recommending to all and sundry.

Interesting variety on the menu, catering to all dietary needs and preferences whilst maintaining great quality. Pair the great food with some fantastic customer service and a great atmosphere and you have a guaranteed repeat customer.

We got here just on closing and the staff were very grumpy. We bought two lots of chocolates but had to be quick. They wouldn’t let us walk around.

Excellent service and the cappuccino and breakfast was wonderful and the homemade chocolates were to die for! Joel and staff were friendly and helpful in suggesting places for us to tour while here from Arizona. Robert & Victoria

Had the share waffle fondue and it was a great size with plenty to eat and a good amount of fresh strawberries which was nice.

Fast, friendly service, plenty of choice. Pet friendly and good value for money. Not busy when we were there, Sunday early afternoon.

We went here to celebrate my wife's birthday. We tried their chicken burger and shepherd's pie. As for the chicken burger, it is one of the best-tasting café burgers I have tried. It has the right amount of spice and goes well with the bacon and everything inside. The portion is also quite huge for the buck. As for my wife, she had the most fantastic shepherd's pie. The beef strips (not ground) were so tender and soft and gave us a whole different concept of how a shepherd's pie should be. We finished off with their waffle dessert. It has fresh strawberries, bananas, and a generous loading of Belgian chocolate. Hands down, one of the best late lunches we had!
