Bracegirdles / Bracegirdle's reviews
65Visited with my Mum for brunch during the week and was very happy! We got fondue with bananas and strawberries for 2 people. At only $25 there was a lot of fruit, and the chocolate was absolutely delicious! We also got coffee and Horchata (which the barista described as like their spiced chai). I really enjoyed my drink. We sat indoors in the window alcove with a lovely view of the outdoor seating area. The cafe is beautifully decorated with warm wood, and dark tones, and cosy vibes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I really appreciated the disability inclusivity within the staffing team. Already planning to come back this weekend - thank you staff!
My heavily pregnant wife and I were told would not be served without masks, even if sitting outside. I'm sorry, but we will not support businesses that discriminate. They have indefinitely lost us as customers.
Coffee was fantastic, food was amazing and affordable, you can tell they use fresh quality ingredients. Deserts were amazing. And to top it off the staff were the most loveliest, enthusiastic, caring people. Will definitely be coming back again and again.
I had a great breakfast here, would have been five stars but my homemade beans were not heated through.
On a cold winter's day nothing quite beats a hot chocolate made with Bracegirdle's superb dark chocolate.
Absolutely beautiful sat out side staff put heater on drinks where awesome and lovely and hot good service smiles around very friendly and makes you wanna return
Absolutley terrible service, the food was overpriced. Ordered the bacon and egg sandwich, they stuffed it up twice and couldnt have cared less. By the time i went back twice, the sandwich and ingredients were cold. $13 wasted on Rubbish
Friendly helpful staff.the breakfast burger was delicious, good value.pot of tea was perfect.thanks
We came with a free coffee voucher and they couldn't redeem that because it was a public holiday, but the voucher did NOT mention that.
The guy at the counter seems ignorant and we got the wrong coffee.
The coffee and food was great as always but customers want consistency!
Had a family lunch on the Monday long weekend with my family from Sydney, food was excellent with the chocolate thickshake.
Just a one time stop while passing through on holiday but I found the staff friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced menu with a good range of items. Thoroughly enjoyed the spicy chicken turkish and yummy iced chocolate. Thanks for a great lunch!
Sorry guys and girls arrived at 11 am on Friday and there were 4 dirty tables and 5 staff behind the counter.
There were only 7 customers and it still took twelve minutes to get a simple coffee and muffin. Must of been a slow day
A great little spot in mclarenvale, the breakfast we had was amazing, eggs Benny, the hollandaise was the best I’ve had.
The hot chocolate is to die for, I will be back.
We visited Bracegirdles, as we loved their Burnside branch and range of chocolates, not to mention incredible hot chocolate. It was a lovely setting outside under the trees and umbrellas.
Unfortunately, they may be under staffed (advertising for a barista noted), as it took 43 minutes to be delivered a long black and hot chocolate (and the previous dirty plates were not cleared for this entire time, which somewhat detracted from the ambience.
Next time, we will go somewhere else.
We went in for breakfast today, it was very busy but the staff did well in letting us know the wait times, it just gave us extra time to soak in the loveley atmosphere, the food and the drinks were exceptional, we will be coming back and telling our friends about this little gem in mclarenvale.
I like the place. Quaint and cozy. Good waffles.like.really really good waffles. The toppings were good too. But the waffles were like really really good. Probably the best thing on the menu apart from cilli hot chocolate.but then again just bring your own chilli powder and save a buck.
Coffee was amazing. So was the cake. Lady who served us wasn't friendly. No smile. We were inconveniencing her.sorry! Also we are not dumb. We were a little confusied on the coffee sizes we ordered.

Absolutely not impressed, wish we went up the road to a different Cafe for lunch where chips are included with the burger! Really $6 extra for chips on the side makes for a very expensive burger.
I ordered smashed avo & poached eggs - the avo was awful was sour.
The lunch took about 30mins to come out, I was told there would be a 15min wait for my coffee - which is kind of ok. What's not ok though is charging $8.50 for a small mocha! I wish I double checked that before purchase.
The table we sat at was sticky and dirty.
The girl serving at front counter was so quiet I couldn't hear her.
The girl that served our food was pleasant.
I won't be back. Left feeling urrky.
As always, it was a joy to visit Bracegirdle's. Delicious waffles with strawberries, ice cream and liquid Belgian chocolate. Very nice coffees. Fast and friendly service. Thanks to the McLaren Vale Bracegirdle's team
Always a nice atmosphere in the heart of McLaren Vale whether it's the ambiance of sitting outside on a summers day, the pretty Autumn leaves or inside in the cosy coffee house. Coffee is always perfection, lunch is yum and who doesn't love chocolate.
