BIG4 Stuart Range Outback Resort reviews
66WhT a place. Friendly and great food. There's a bar restaurant, pool, cabins, powered sites or nonpowered sites. Camel farm and small emu enclosure. Souvenirs and very yummy coffee. They also have a resident python um behind glass thank goodness. There's plenty of out door seating and BBQ. For a roadhouse this has lots to enjoy if you are passing or staying. You need to stop here for a visit if you are heading north up the Stuart highway or south. Plenty of parking aswell. I'm sure you will like your stop over.
The pool is massive and perfect temperature for how hot it is. Family friendly. Shower and toilet block very clean. Great overnight stay with caravan
A beautiful retreat amongst the desert and opal mines. Very clean and family friendly facilities. A beach style pool for the littlies to splash and the big kids to cool off! $1 for 40l of water lasted our family of 5,2 nights no worries with the free shower facilities and even a bath for the toddler! We will definitely stay again!
What an amazing couple that run this park! We got stuck here for 10 days after picking up bad fuel and having to have our engine replaced in town. The management happily helped us by driving us to get groceries, lending cooking utensils and just allowing us and our 2 children (4 and 2) to make ourselves at home. This was all days before Christmas!
The pool was amazing and always beautifully cleaned, the camp kitchen had a lounge area so we could just get away from our van when needed.
Thank you to Jodie and Graham for their hospitality and generosity. Our little family will never forget how you helped us.
Bit of an oasis in the desert. Very friendly and helpful staff. No shade though, nice new kid friendly swimming pool, but needs some shade cloth as there's nowhere to hide from the heat. Facilities immaculately cleaned. Powered sites ok, but again absolutely no shade
Perfect midway point between Alice Springs & Adelaide. Friendly staff, no noise from the Stuart Highway & a well maintained carpark/site. There are cameras and boomgates to enter the site which make staying here feel safe.
The apartment was very spacious and well appointed with a full size kitchen which came in handy to cook dinner. The other amenities such as the bathroom which had a washer & dryer were also an added bonus. Parking is right in front of the room which is convenient. The bed was also very comfortable. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want a hassle-free place to spend the night.
1 minor setback was the older model Samsung tv which meant watching Netflix/YouTube or even casting wasnt possible. Putting smart TV's in the apartments would enhance the entire room and experience but overall its good place to stay
We have been here years ago and alot has changed. New renevations and very good customer service.
I stayed there in June 22 and the staff was racist and unfriendly, they looked at Asian in a disgusting way and I've never seen this in another more than 100 caravan parks in Australia I stayed over the years. The dump point was terribly smelly. Highly not recommended.
These guys have done a great job in renovating the place. We stayed in the apartment style rooms. Staff are friendly and the pool is fantastic. I would recommend to caravaners also as that set up looks good too.
This is *the* Caravan park to stay at in CP. It's got great, incredibly clean, facilities and a huge pool. We came through in mid December so low season, hence very quiet.
Stayed in motel room with full kitchen, seperate bedroom and laundry/bathroom. Recommended.
Great place to stay in Coober Pedy. Comfortable motel style room with kitchen lounge area. Separate king size bed in the bedroom and bathroom with laundry. Highly recommend staying here if your ever in town.
Fantastic accommodation
Room had everything you could ask for.
Location on the edge of town
Nice and quiet!
To start the park was great the toilets clean and the camp kitchen was the best I've seen. Site allocation was a stuff up for us and as I found out many others in the park. All I can say is double check you're getting what you booked. I'm new to the whole caravan park scene but in our 3 week trip as round the red centre, this is the only park we had trouble with.
Great park loved it just make sure you lock your doors of a night we woke up around midnight to someone in our van not parks fault it was a rookie mistake
Big sites, friendly staff, modern clean bathrooms (liked that the shower was on a 5 minute timer, was long enough to wash my long, think hair). $6 for a big load of washing. Big camp kitchen with 2 stoves, sinks. A few toasters and kettles, a fridge with a number of small tables. A lounge and TV.
Well appointed caravan park with very clean amenities. However, shortage of water can create some problems to those travellers not prepared for this situation. The park is quite secure compared to some we have been in.
Staff friendly, clean facilities, drive through sites and received 8c discount card for fuel at BP Coober Pedy
Friendly and helpful staff and the camping grounds and amenities were well maintained and kept cleaned at all times
Went to have a BBQ only to find they had been taken away and the state of the outdoor kitchen was shocking rooms were very nice maybe on our way back the BBQ might be there there one day gone the next rather sad
