Booked in here & told them we have a Rear Door Caravan was put on a site that we had hardly any more at back. There’s so many trees around that parking is hard. People with bigger vans were going around park twice to figure out how to get on their sites, people couldn’t put their side awnings out because of trees or it would go out onto the road. They told us at booking that it was fully booked and charged us top dollar, when on the public holiday over 3/4 of the park was empty & they didn’t come and clean any of the ensuite sites until the Wednesday morning & no more people came into park, so why the high prices. The town & Barossa Valley area was wonderful but the park, Yuck.

Good to see this big 4 getting new playground put in about time. Been here 3 times and will keep coming back. Rooms are always clean and gardens are well maintained.

Great place to base yourself to get around the Barossa Valley. A short walk to the center of town. Amenities clean and near our camp site. Office staff were friendly and helpful. A great check in system with all the info we needed all prepared for us to pick up as soon as we drove up. Good value for money and love to go back again one day.

Stayed for 6 nights recently, We travelled from Victoria with our caravan. We originally had a Ensuite site booked, but prior to arrival I called to pay our outstanding amount and was informed our van wouldn't fit on the ensuite sites (too large, I did give the length of our van at time of booking) After seeing these sites I am glad we weren't on them as they are quite small. We were instead put on a drive through gravel site, Which after 6 days got very old. Especially with 2 dogs. Dust, Stones and more dust. The grassed sites look so lush & green, would love to have stayed on one of them. All in all, the toilets were cleaned regularly, the park was very tidy and clean, pool was lovely on the hot days, and the park is very spacious with lots of room to walk around, even a dog park across the street.

They claim to be a dog friendly park however there is a man in a Big 4 shirt who walks around with his dog, stops and waits for a few minutes until your dog barks and then gives you a warning. Apparently they like their power-play at this park as there were multiple other issues that as soon as we mentioned them all we got was ‘oh well we’ve never had a complaint about that before’ etc.not only calling us liars but also refusing to do anything to help us. Our shower was flooding but they’ve never had a complaint about that before so they refused to help and said ‘what do you expect me to do about it? ’ Then handed me a towel when I said it was a slip, trip and fall hazard. (Bev was the worker who said those things to us).
We were really looking forward to staying here as my family have been coming here for a long time and we’ve never had an issue with the Big 4 parks before however after this despicable experience which left us feeling unsafe, not listened to and frustrated we will not be returning again.

Great for a family vacation it has lots of room for the kids to run around and ride bikes, it's next to a large football field. It also has a swimming pool and the Barossa surrounds are beautiful and filled with Wineries for the adults.

Great park with a mix of grass, gravel and slab sites. Lovely open park setting adjacent to ovals and walking distance to town. Will stay here again.

Big 4 tourist park Barossa
I am rating this park 4 stars.
When I first arrived, the reception was good always someone their between working hours. There was lots of space 2 ovals at the front, and a big area behind the tourist park. Theres also heaps of interesting bikes paths that’s leads you to many places, for example an outside church, called the bush chapel. Also your able to rent out pedal go carts for a couple hours. The sites for tents and caravan/ camper trailers are good and you are able to choose for grass or all weather and powered or not. Some of the cabins are a bit old but the more you pay the newer they are but I had no problem with mine. Pool is made for kids as you probably see in the picture but it’s deep enough at one end in the middle for their heads to go completely under so be aware that if your kids walk to the other side on the edge of the pool it’s a lot deeper in the middle. Games rooms cool I guess have air hockey, mini soccer, gigantic connect four and table tennis. Their are a lot of barbecues and fire pits spread all around the park but the kitchen for the tents and the caravans is a bit old and dirty. Their also a basket ball half Court and a giant chess board out side what’s cool too.
Over all this is a great tourist park but Theirs a lot for kids. I’m pretty sure a tourist park is in the middle of a resort and a caravan park but it’s making me change my mind because their nothing for just adults to do here, your not going to go play air hokey and your not going to go swimming with kids jumping around next to you. This tourist park is more like a caravan park, but if you have kids it’s great so that’s why I will give this half tourist half caravan park 4 stars. Otherwise go to the other one in Barossa.

Also they have Tesla charges

Clean and tidy but Little disappointed about the lack of stuff for the kids todo and the pool area needs improvement or upgrade only one of the 4 shades are usable bit sad especially this close to summer, great park for a couple but not really setup for families

Had a great 5 days here, fairly quiet and sites 13-16 (with 3 other friends) were perfect, lovely large grassed sites nice and close to all amenities. A 10 minute walk along the creek into town for coffee at the cafe.

The cabin was fantastic and the park is well set out, not sure about barking dogs though, should be assured of a good night sleep when you pay for it!

Very enjoyable family get together. Some stayed in a cabin, some in caravans. The whole park very well maintained, great games room and a heated pool. Highly recommended

We had a great time. We stayed in a cabin for 2 nights. Ideal space for my family. Found the Queen bed a little lumpy but overall quiet good.

Such lush green grass. Great place to base Barossa trips from and can sit back at night with a fire pit (section a) to keep warm as it gets cold at night.

Need to separate caravans. They put them all in one spot when 1/2 the caravans park is empty.
