Went to watch the England final. It may have been 4am but it was perfect, staff were helpful and the ambience was great. England may have lost but I had a great morning at Arkaba.

Only downer was the bar food menu having one item on it, and it wasn't vegetarian.

If I could give more stars I would- service, staff, food, ambience absolutely everything about this hotel is amazing! Stayed for one night but I wish it was longer. Everything right here; restaurant, bar and pokies.

Staff were polite and super friendly!

Food was D I V I N E! Try the pumpkin pizza ;)

We’ll be back! Thanks team:)

Staff were friendly upon arrival, got told our room was upgraded (from standard twin) - from what I could see the difference being queen beds instead of doubles. Only here for the one night. Could easily park in/around the hotel/supermarket. Room was spacious enough, though the shower head was below average and the bedside remote for all lights, TV and air-conditioning was a little odd. Loud music played until at least 1.15am so was not happy about that at all, if I knew it was that noisy we probably wouldn't have booked here.

Went to the Arkaba last night for their Aussie Legends night and had a fantastic evening which ended on a very disappointing note. The DJ stated that he would be playing the last couple of songs so grab your final drink from the bar which we did. I had one sip of my drink and my husband had finished half of his when we left them with our jackets on the table to have a last dance. When we returned to our table the drinks had been removed. We approach the bar staff and were told "too bad". We asked to speak to the supervisor. Ellie the supervisor then proceeded to tell us that it was company policy to remove all unattended drinks from the tables. Does this mean we should have taken our drinks onto the dance floor or to the toilet? All evening we had been leaving our drinks on our table to dance and none had been removed it was purely because it was close to closing and the staff obviously wanted to clean up and go home. We asked that our drinks be replaced and she flatly refused to do this and told us we could buy another drink downstairs. She also accused us of lying to get a free drink. There was an area behind the bar where the staff had been placing the glasses they collected and we pointed out our drinks. She then simply stood there and refused to talk to us any further. We come here regularly and have never had this problem before. Very poor attitude towards your customers!

I like going to the Sports Bar for an easy meal, because of the casual atmosphere and friendly service. Some staffs are the bar can be rude during rush hours, which is unfortunate but I would still recommend this place for people who wish to get a good bite at a pub!

Staff are very accommodating for those who need pillows or such for seating. Excellent service. We went to the fringe show on the 17th and it was excellent

This an institution! First went there when I was an under aged Disco Gower. Nowadays it has become a great place for entertainment and dining. Have stayed here. Was very handy to stay while attending an event. My room was very luxurious. Would stay again!

The music was fantastic but the atmosphere was sad because it was empty and the only people were bar staff and old people but the musician were fantastic

I was at your venue last saturday night for Clearway. It was a great show but when I went downstairs to get a cocktail it was packed and there was only 1 working eft. When I went to pay the eftpos stopped working. Ridiculous. I was asked to get cash out. I was not impressed as the bar was so busy. The bar staff did an amazing job but absurd to think a venue this size only has one working machine - not impressed. Should have more eftpos machines to ensure it doesn’t happen on busy nites. Thumbs up to staff that dealt with this professionally.

Whilst, the food was reasonable and most staff were trying hard, there was a manager or assistant manager in the sports bar last night who had a massive chip on his shoulder and was an arrogant little man. He was the rudest "supposed customer service" representative I have ever encountered, he had the worst attitude, no people skills and 0 conflict resolution abilities. I feel that staff should go through more social skills training and also conflict resolution skills as he was horrid when I placed a complaint after an issue. He was also bias, condescending and tried to big note himself. Very disappointing end to the night after a good night out.

Possibly the best sports bar in the city, TVs all over the place and an industrial style Tab section that looks like it could handle enough punting action to send half the city broke. Good service to go along with that so I'm gonna have to recommend it big time

Shame about some staff that don’t know how to treat patrons! Last Saturday night we had a group in the dining room for dinner. The staff were great there, as one of the guests meals took a long time to come out after everyone else had received their meals. We bought many bottles of wine and were having a great night. As the crows game was tight, we decided to go to the sports bar. I went to the bar and purchased several bottles of wine for the girls and a number of spirits. I met our group in the outdoor section with the large screen, then gave our friends the drinks and with 2 minutes to go in the game, the crows hit the front. The crowd went crazy, it was so fun. Then a staff member collecting glasses (think the bar manager) confronted me and stated you can’t smoke here! I said, I know that there is a sign here saying it. He then preceded to say now don’t you light it, I said I’m not mate there’s now 1 minute to go and this guy was starting to now get annoying. I said I’m going outside then he again repeated - I’ve told you not to smoke. I said mate you’re a fxxx idiot leave me alone, I don’t need grief with that. He then took my full glass and tells me to leave the pub quoting the RSA rules and I was the designated driver. Our whole group ended up leaving and it ruined our night. The girls had to leave their wine. I’ve been going to the ark since I was 17 and spent many a great night there. I’m now 60 and one male arrogant staff member made our group miserable. As I walked through the hotel to leave, I noticed the staff member in the gaming room smugly stating how he got this old guy thrown out as I abused him terribly.
The duck inn on the way home was a delight and we spent much more money there after. Marc P

Furious, went to watch the campions league final. The sports bar packed, but the main bar was less than a quarter full and they weren't letting people in, what a joke. Go straight to the casino next time for your sports

Came here for dinner and a show and was not dissapointed - food came out so super quick and was delicious - the upstairs function room/space was really awesome especially with its own bar!

The experience our group had last Saturday evening was extremely mixed. Whilst the dining room staff and food was reasonable, we experienced issues after dinner when we went into the sports bar to watch the crows game. The staff member we encountered here was so horrid and arrogant, which lead to our night being ruined. It’s such a shame that some egotistical managers with a hitler complex chose to disrespect patrons who were within the rules, but he decided to say they were not. He quoted the RSA as an excuse for the way he spoke to our group in his arrogant and condescending tone, whilst walking past making snide remarks and comments. Since when is it against rules to hold an unlit cigarette that you do not plan on lighting. Many patrons do this to carry minimum outside to smoke. The tone he used to speak to the group, he had no conflict resolution skills or social skills to allow him to effectively communicate with others. Instead of listening to concerns, he shut people down and spoke on top of them when being questioned. This spoiled our evening due to one individual staff member with an ego problem who may have been a bar manager in a striped shirt. His snide remarks when walking past were totally uncalled for.
