Angle Vale Tavern

Asked for something to come to the table FOUR times and still wasn't delivered, pumpkin soup looked like the tin was poured straight into the bowl and food was average at best.

Poor service and very average food. Overcooked dry bland food. Mains brought out while we were still eating entrees. Had to ask someone to clean our table we were seated at as it was filthy. Not that busy there. Wouldn't go again.

Beer/Wine/Food was good - please just get some Wifi for your customers! These days it's assumed that Wifi is available for the kids whilst waiting for their meals.

Service was a joke, staff don't know the their own meals. So many mix ups and incorrect meals. Meals okay and don't trust the specials on the walls because they don't exist. Expensive mistake!

Love the angle vale tavern its our local and we have never had a bad meal.there.or bad service staff are great an awesome place to eat

It was nices but the team needs work together and help each other out.
I asked for some clean glass then one of the team members come to pick it up and use her fingers in the clean glass so we can't use it at all.
Please allways asked if we have finished use it before take it way.

We went to the tavern 3 years ago, it was very dissapointing. We heard rumour of a new chef. What a difference. We had four different meals, each one was delicious with attention to detail with the presentation. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend to all our friends. They seem to have extended the eating area with room for 50+ patrons. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Angle Vale Tavern to anyone. Oh and the prices are very affordable.

Great food and staff are very friendly. If you look to have a very cheap lunch, this is the place.

No vegan options and for the hungry carnivore, lunch burger was tasteless, bacon not cooked and chips no flavour.

Wow vast improvement on our last lunch meal quite a while back. Seems some updates have occurred since our last visit for the better, we had Chicken Schnitzel it had a crunchy crust and juicy meat with a very tasty coleslaw with just a few chips which was fantastic. Will revisit again now

We had a group of 50 today to celebrate Christmas. Brilliant 3 course meal, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Thank you so much to Josh and his team. We will be back.

Chips were cold, poor selection of salad, not enough gravy, long wait for meal, poor selection of deserts. Schnitzel was very good.

You guys lost 2 stars and a family who came here every Sunday for over a year now today. We used to he able to come here and really enjoy a meal but now its more about the bar side of things. Youve taken away family space for more bar area and when its busy i have to go through alot of people drinking and cheering for sports to take a child to a bathroom. Staff are getting very slack with service. You guys have lost your touch and its very disappointing.
*Edit* Feb18 went back because of the memories got turned away because you only have 2 highchairs and couldnt find the 3rd. Are you serious? So disappointed.
