Food and service was great. The only downside for our group was it combined with the bar and a little noisier.

Good range of meals with reasonable prices. The specials were very good including the Lemon Pepper Fried Chicken that I had. The chips were very good. The servings are very generous. Everything is fully accessible on one level with disabled toilet and ambulatory toilet. The toilets were clean and nice. You can sit inside or outside in an enclosed area with screens in both areas to watch sport.

Had lunch with my daughters. We all had schnitzel. One beef, two chicken. Beautiful. Great chips. Lovely salad. So cheap!

Attended angle Vale tavern for dinner and trivia night only to be disappointed by a group of people that where cheating at trivia, we only go for a bit of fun and to catch up with family, can not fault the meals or the staff just one table of people who need to look up answers on there phone either at the table or leaving the area after they realised they were being watched and coming back with answers. This group normally wins and takes home the prize 90% of the time, we left before the end and was ask why we were leaving by a member of that table and I replied no point when your table is cheating. Will not be going back to Angle Vale Taven again

Ordered the 600 gram chicken schnitzel via uber eats, the schnitzel i received only weighed 250 grams, I imagine this was an honest mistake and they simply misread the order, however I paid extra for the biggest schnitzel available so this was pretty disappointing especially as Uber has refused to issue a partial refund for receiving the wrong item. Don't get me wrong the food was delicious but if I pay for 600 grams I want 600 not 250.

Meals didn't come for 45mins orders missed and head foh was rude

If not local you aren't seen appoach
Won't bother travelling 100km one way to go again

Got the schnitzel platter some people rave about. Everything was cold and tiny! Won’t be back! Went for over an hour drive to try this! Very disappointed!

Was invited out for dinner & it was the best pub meal I've had for a while. Food was bought out to tables on big wooden platters & it was delicious. The staff were friendly, helpful & catered to the kids as well. Great place & $100 fed 6 adults & 3 kids with leftovers to go! If you haven't come for a meal I'd recommend it, you won't be disappointed

OH my goodness! We just had the 6 schnitzel platter, with various toppings, and wow it was incredible. SUCH good value for money! 6 schnitzels, popcorn chicken, chips, salad AND a jug of soft drink, for $50. Amazing value!

Still a great local place to go for their wonderful main meals. But do yourself a favour, and skip their coffee and new dessert menu. It's woeful. Nearly $18 for a sub par dessert and cold weak coffee. I had the gluten free brownies and my friend had the lemon tart and both were overpriced and underwhelming. The coffee and chai were cold and lack lustre. Dessert is definitely not their forte

Ordered the vale platter with a bunch of sides, although services was good the food absolute rubbish. The potatoes tasted like they were pre-cooked, the brisket was trash and over cooked, the rest of the food was awful. Only saving grace is my wife a chef and can salvage almost anything. 100% recommend driving an extra 10 to 12 kilometres to the Virginia pub!

Only gave a partial refund after asking which is shocking as neither my friend or I ate our meals for obvious reasons. Wouldn’t recommend getting chicken unless you’re into medium-rare chicken.

My partner and I went for a Schnitzel Platter and Oh My Goodness it did not disappoint. I made a last minute booking, and the girls were so accommodating and friendly, but I can not stop talking about the food. Not only was it amazing quality, but the amount was so generous, especially for the price.
I think I have just found my new favourite place, I will definitely be going back!

Had the bangers and mash. Sausages were pork and definitely locally sourced, they weren't fatty and tasted great.
The mashed potatoes, peas, caramelized and gravy were also very nice. I didn't think that I would eat it all but I did easily. Misso had the chicken avocado which she also enjoyed. The bread rolls were sour dough and also very nice. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

Food is great but the service is always very average. Haven't had 1 experience where I would say I'm happy with the service. Always rude and seem inconvenienced. From juniors up the managers. Such a shame

Updated nicely. Great bistro and decently priced menu! Games room is ehat you would expect. But overall the staff are quite friendly there.

Went for lunch had the sticky pork belly. It was absolutely beautiful! Will definitely be back to try other menu options.

First time here. Wont be back. 3 Adults.
Walked in. Wasn't approached. So decided to take a seat. No cutlery on table. Ordered food. I then found someone to get cutlery. But that was the easy part.
Food came out. Chicken was drier than a nun. The steak was burnt on outside and raw in middle.
However, fruit tingle was nice.

Went here for my friends birthday after a recommendation from a work colleague and gotta admit, we definitely weren't disappointed. Friendly staff and good service, plus the day we where there they had live music. As for the food If you want to try a little bit of everything on the menu then I would recommend the Vale signature platter. The picture I've posted is of the brisket burger which was really good
