I’ve been a loyal customer to this store for many years but won’t be going back now. Two times they “misplaced” my special orders then now they couldn’t help me to replace a basically brand new Milwaukee take measure which has a manufacturing fault and does not retract because I didn’t have my purchase receipt on me. If they help customers out with things like this we would stick around as loyal customers. I’ll take my business elsewhere from now on.

Purchased a husqvarna multi tool a few weeks ago for $1300.

When purchased, I should have received a box of accessories with a metal blade and an extra guard.

I never received it and when I went to the store yesterday I was told I would have to pay extra for these things. Staff were rude.

I have put in a complaint with Husqvarna.

I won’t be going back.

Served by Peter this morning, had an issue that just seemed all too hard for him, continued to then serve multiple other customers while I waited, in the end it was clear I wasn't going to be assisted so left.

Won't use this chain of shops ever again.

I have worked in retail for over 40 year's and you rarely get excellent service anywhere. I rang yesterday concerning some AEG batteries I needed I spoke to Makayla, she went above and beyond to get me what I wanted as you didn't have them in stock, she sourced them from Lonsdale for me. I was called the same day to say they had arrived. Excellent service, Makayla is definitely an asset to your business and I will highly recommend you again, Thank you

Ordered 200mm auger bit on a tuesday, told it would be in next day - it wasnt. Called the following day - told would be in Friday - came in to store - wasnt there - told it was another store showing faulty stock, told I would get a call monday (didnt get a call), called tuesday - no item, no note, staff unaware of order issue.no follow up.this is not the first time this has happened ordering from here (had a similar issue with a makita blower). While the staff are friendly and try to be helpful when in store - there is some serious issues with how this is handled overall. I would never order things they didnt have in stock in future. Ordering stuff they have in stock no issues.

The staff at Adelaide tools Mile End go out of their way to offer the best service. I recently dropped off my festool sander to get fixed. Jess kept me in the loop with the process, had to wait for a part and then instead of sending it to Festool they were able to fix the issue in store. Many thanks to Gil for his expert fixing skills and Jess for the best customer service.

Bought my first significant Milwaukee kit from these guys when they were Gasweld in Whitmore square years ago, a Bosch jackhammer and a Festool extractor a couple of years ago. Tried to buy a Metabo sliding compound saw yesterday and today. Two staff I spoke to knew nothing about this product. Furthermore they told me the Metabo rep.was coming in later when infact when I returned, did not. Manager Geoff tells me this morning the staff were incorrect with info they gave me. My advice is avoid young inexperienced staff here.go to Senior management only for reliable information even if they know nothing at least they will tell you the truth. Metabo rep is probably one of the most disinterested reps I have encountered selling Professional tools. In terms of customer service, Adelaide Tools appears to be on the downhill slide. Hard to find reliable info on just about anything.
. Since my first initial review of 2 stars, senior management have made considerable effort to rectify problems as they arise so an extra star is warranted!

I went t the store because my Stihl hedge trimmer wasn't working. I expected to buy a new battery. Jim pointed out that the blades were rusted and gave me a lesson in maintenance while he cleaned and filed the teeth of the trimmer for me (at no cost). I am thrilled with the friendly and efficient assistance I received and will gladly recommend Adelaide Tools Mile End to all my friends.

Just bought a welder and want to say a big thank you to Jim at Mile End for outstanding service. He provided great information on the phone and then in store I asked about several other items I'm looking to buy but needed more information on. He was friendly, concise, accurate (he didn't pretend to know something that he wasn't 100% certain on and checked it up for me). And all without condescension which I and other women who use tools receive frequently enough from other retailers.

I've received great service every time I've been there (actually it might have been Jim who helped then too) and will be back for my next items soon. Also Jim has welding experience which was really handy in this case in particular. Thank you Mile End team!

I picked up a Makita drill/battery kit here and had one of the batteries die about a year out. That's fine things happen. Makita told me to take it back to where I purchased it and they'd take care of it.

After bringing in the battery to get swapped out I was told it would need go to the workshop and would take a few days. That was a bit odd in that it takes about 30 seconds to test one of these. You drop it in a charger and the charger tells you the battery is broken.

But now a few days is creeping into a few weeks. Which is a bit much to simply swap out a broken battery under warranty.

I wouldn't hurry back given this level of customer service.

I rang up whilst Adelaide Tools was having a sale and served by Adam. WHAT A LEGEND! The best service ever! He went above and beyond to make sure I had all of the information I needed for the product I enquired about. He really knows his stuff! What great service!

Used to love buying from a south Australian family owned business. You sold out to wesfarmers/Bunnings sadly who runs their business with shareholders in mind. Before it would be 5 stars now minus. I will be shopping elsewhere now thanks for the incentive.

I would just like to say how appreciative I am of the help I received from Lazar at Adelaide Tools Mile End. I was after a specialised type of digital caliper, and even though I wasn't able to purchase this instrument from Adelaide Tools, Lazar went above and beyond to point me in the right direction of where I was able to source it. I may not have walked out with a purchase from Adelaide Tools today but I will definately be back for all of our tooling needs in the future. That type of service is hard to go past. Thank you Lazar
