Abyssinian Restaurant reviews
48Amazing food at a great price. We got the mesob for two people and it was enough for four! Delicious.
Fantastic Food.the share plate for 4.we couldn't finish it! And we are fairly good eaters. Staff friendly. Mamma you are a fabulous cook. Thank you for your WONDERFUL FOOD. Will be back to keep practice the correct way to eat! Oh. Wine was nice also. All the Best for the Future!
People. Go there and enjoy!
We got the selection of dishes for two - and it was easily enough for four! All the food was really delicious. The Ethiopian tea was excellent too
Had a beautiful meal with my daughter. She had the chicken. I had vegetarian. Food was very nice. My daughter wanted coffee and the waitress said sorry we are too busy.
The food was delicious.it was the first time l had eaten African food and l will be going back.yum yum yum
Great food, try the platter if it's your first time trying Ethiopian food. If you want gluten free, they offer rice instead of the Ethiopian bread with the curries.
I enjoy the Veggie Combo plate here with injera the Ethiopian fermented bread. Very different but it has grown on me. A friend and I shared the dish and we loved it. I like their meat dishes too.
Lovely informal place to visit with no airs about it. The host is courteous and helps first timers navigate the menu.
We were five in number and ate a large plate that just had a little bit of everything. The food is yummy (especially the meat curries) and has no heat (chilli) at all.
It was a wonderful experience.
Such a fantastic place to eat and educate yourself about African foods and cultures. The owners were lovely and welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. We will be coming back. The food was well priced and large portions.
Good place to go for spicy food with a difference. If you have a vegetarian in your party they will have lots of options, as do the meat eaters.we really enjoyed this different style of food.
Amazing food! If you are ever looking to try something different this place is amazing! Great prices for huge portions
Amazing atmosphere, host extremely friendly and accommodating, will be back as soon as possible!
10/10 hands down the best quality and freshest food in SOUTH AUSTRALIA
can’t beat that excellent customer service and the passion behind the counter, the best thing to happen to Torrensville
Keep up the great work
Dry, tough cold meat, even worse service. A 3 day old servo saussage roll would be better. I feel ill.
Probably better than ok but not quite 4 stars, I enjoyed my mixed vegetarian platter with the interesting flat bread/crepe. Limited wine list and some beers along with friendly service.
Food was delicious and price was okay.
The blokes were very friendly but not very good hospitality and slow service
But delicious food
A warm, friendly and generous place. We enjoyed a beautiful traditional Ethiopian vegan meal cooked fresh and we ate by hand with Injera (sourdough flatbread). There’s a kindness made us want to visit Ethiopia.
Despite slow service at first, the level of service for my fiancé's birthday dinner was outstanding, married with a sumptuous vegan banquet. The injera base soaks up the flavours of the various spicy vegetable stews - the red lentil - misir way - is to die for! Certain to return.
Wonderful food, very good value and getting a share plate means you dont have to choose what to order. Lots of vegan food aswell
