Avoid hash browns - not crispy - soggy, tasted microwaved - and certainly not worth $20. Won’t be going back again

1923 Cafe Blackwood was absolutely delightful. We came to celebrate our dear friend's birthday today, the ownership and staff were very accomodating, helpful and lovely. Such great breakfast and delicious coffee, a real standout meal. Thank you from the ladies.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere second to none. Despite this the lack of swirly straws, or any other type of amusing drinking aid, really left me disappointed. A defite must try for everyone.

Absolutely delicious fresh food and great tasty coffee. We visited 1923 today for the first time and we are so happy we did. Vibrant, cosy and full of customers it was lucky we could get a seat. The food was well worth the wait we praise the very friendly and welcoming staff for how the handled the huge crowd. Our new favourite place to brunch

Good coffee, friendly service. Good choice of freshly cooked brunch food, cakes and muffins. Room for larger groups under the veranda.

Best in the Blackwood! The food was to die for and the coffee was sensation. My salmon benedict was just perfection the homemade hollandaise was the best I have ever had. Everyone absolutely loved their food and even being as packed as they were we still got our food pretty quick. My partners streak sandwich was huge and so great for value. They even looked after a furry friends with drinking water and all. Great find in the hills

Good simple food, all home made. But quite pricey and took for EVER like 50minutes to arrive (just quietly I think they forgot our order until I reminded them at the 45 minute mark). Ruined the experience a vit

Nothing special going on inside. Coffee was good but the menu was just standard fare so we ate down the road instead.

Its refreshing to experience good old fashion great service and food. Enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the way the staff take pride in the service.

Long wait for over priced coffee. Coffee was also below average in flavor and very weak, no friendly vibes so whatever. I don’t recommend it for good coffee.

I had the vegan breakfast and it was delicious. Perfect combination of avocado, mushrooms, baked beans, spinach, rocket, bread and hommus. Would go again!

There is a lot to be said about good wholesome and fresh food. This gem of a cafe delivers all, with the emphasis in tasty, and amazing food.

Went to this gorgeous little place over the weekend with a friend and it was so lovely and a great experience. The food and coffee is so amazing, their coffee was really really good and the food was just perfect. I love finding new brunch spots to visit but I will definitely visiting here a lot more. The staff were so friendly, cheery and just so helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend 1923
