1802 Oyster Bar - Coffin Bay

Good food but the public holiday surcharge is crazily high (20%). Since paying for the same food, we would rather go there for the other day. Also, I would prefer they told me when I made the booking, not when I just sat down in the restaurant.

Nice choice of foods on menu. Great service, our outdoor table had views of the Bay. Fair pricing. Would certainly visit again when in the area.

Both the fresh and baked/fried oysters are delish. Nice views over the bay. The Japanese style oysters are worth a try. Nice decor and atmosphere

Beautiful setting overlooking the oyster farms in the bay. Best oysters we've ever had and the seafood share platter was really nice too.

Great restaurant, the oysters are fresh with a wide range of flavors to choose from. The steak is delicious. Seafood platter is good but the price is the highest among all the food

Appreciated being able to fit us in for lunch at short notice. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Oysters were lovely, but much smaller than I anticipated. Calamari was delicious and so was the wine. Would definitely return.

We have been to 1802 every year for the past 4 years on the new years week and every time they have been amazing. The service is impeccable and all the staff know what they are doing, and the food is absolutely divine. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful, he even told us about a few of the best surf spots around Coffin bay! Can't wait to go back next year!

Great service, great location and delicious food! My partner and I shared 6 sides and 1 main dish. It was all incredible! My highlight was the prawns and melt in your mouth tuna while my partners highlight was the duck doughnut and Squid. Highly recommend this spot to taste the seafood frontier.

Really brilliant quality food and fine service. Sat outside in a late evening dining with the family. Would take friends and family here again.

Dined here for our last night in Coffin Bay. Shared the seafood platter and a dozen oysters (not pictured). Food was nice, service was excellent and very attentive.

We had a lovely dinner here. Oysters.yes, but wait there's more. We started with sourdough bread with skordallia and the squid.so good. Then we opted for the kingfish and duck breast. Thankfully my partner and I like sharing (you get to taste more things that way). Complemented by a bottle of wine and followed by affogatos with choice of liquor. Lovely outside setting and friendly wait staff. One of the nicest dinners we've had in a while.

A must try place for any seafood lovers on the Eyre Peninsula! There’s a variety of modern and traditional seafood dishes on the menu that are all delicious. The oysters are so fresh and melt in your mouth, everything we ordered was great!

My wife really enjoyed the Oysters Natural she had as entree, and we both were impressed with our mains, in fact my Gnocchi was one of the best I've ever had! Service was friendly and fast too. Can't wait to return.

Big Birthday dinner for my partners 25th and what an amazing dinner, experience and service from the whole staff! Would definitely recommend this place for any occasion and you will not regret it.
