It was such a wonderful day the best first fitting to find my wedding dress. I keep looking at photos from the day.

Vanessa was so lovely and so helpful pulling out dresses based on what I liked and offering perfect suggestions. Because dresses are made to order I know I’ll be able to get my dream dress with exactly the features I want.

My fiancé Emmanuel has ordered his suit for our wedding through When Freddie met Lilly and enjoyed his suit fitting. His appointment with When Freddie met Lilly was his first suit fitting and he ended up buying his suit at the end of the appointment. He found Vanessa to be professional and that she had a good sense of humour.

I also had a dress fitting with When Freddie met Lilly. Even though the dress that ended up being "the one" was from another boutique I enjoyed my fitting at When Freddie met Lilly and viewing their dress range. I'd recommend When Freddie met Lilly for brides who are opting for an elegant yet whimsical look, and my fiancé would recommend them for suits.

One of the things we appreciated about Vanessa and WFML was that we were able to have my beautifully designed wedding dress, and my fiancé's suit organised at the one place. I also purchased the pretty ostrich bolero that was surprisingly warm and complemented my dress. Vanessa designs with absolutely gorgeous fabrics - I particularly loved the lace she used on my dress. She was extremely helpful and accommodating and communicated well with us throughout the process.

Vanessa is an absolute wonder, no job is too big or too small for her. She dealt with both myself and my bridesmaid when we booked an appointment with her for alterations for my wedding dress and my bridesmaid's dress. She made us feel so welcomed and complimented both our dresses. She was so professional yet made us feel like we guests in her very own home. I cannot recommend enough connecting with Vanessa if you are needing any type of alterations. She even helped me choose ties that color matched my bridesmaid's dress! She is a true gem!

Could not reccomended this business enough. Right from the first visit they made me feel so comfortable and heard and that has not changed right up to picking up my dress. They made me a custom design that was a combination of two different dresses they had on the rack, responded to emails super quickly and communicated clearly every step of the way, and then produce the most stunning dress that fits me perfectly. Just to top it off, the service they provided and the dress I end up with was very reasonably priced.

I have never felt more beautiful than I did in my wedding dress and veil. The team at When Freddie Met Lilly made my bridal party and I feel so comfortable - and hyped - right from the first time I met with them to try on dresses. Everyone there was so dedicated and made sure that the dress fit me like a glove; they were such a pleasure to see on each fitting. I cannot recommend them enough!

Where to start on my experience with When Freddie Met Lilly. I was the bride that ordered a dress and the 50 days, decided that I didn't like it and wanted a new one. Vanessa the whole team were INCREDIBLE, they have an amazing ability to create such beautiful experience for brides. It is a place where there is no shame about body image, and you can feel very safe in the hands of these talented team. Highly recommend them!

Vanessa and her team helped bring our vision to life for our special day – they didn’t just make my wedding dress but also made outfits for my partner, my mother and our entire bridal party! The final result was perfectly coordinated and uniquely designed outfits that captured our visions for the day accurately. Leading up to the wedding the service was generally pretty good. My partner ordered his suit 12 weeks out and went for his final fitting 7 days before his wedding day, It was mentioned on this day that his shirt had still not arrived.

My partner then collected his suit the day before the wedding, tried it on at the shop, and noticed the shirt was about 5 sizes too big.

It was claimed the providers sent the incorrect shirt, I find this hard to believe, It's my suspicion they tried to pull the wool over our eyes with this one.

At 4.30 pm my partner was forced to run out and buy another shirt from Connor, the shop shut at 5.30, and we were leaving the next day for an early ferry. A very stressful experience to say the least.

It was refused when asking for a refund, although they did pay for the $30 Connor shirt. Great, thanks.

They took no responsibility and my suspicion is the shirt didn't turn up in time. Why would you not just say that, then send one of your customers to his wedding day in a shirt that's five sizes too big.

Thank you so much for allowing me to come into your studio and try on your amazing dresses! Molly was so helpful, from the very first moment she made us feel welcome. We also met the lovely Vanessa who also helped and assisted in my decision making!

Vanessa is a genius, who has the patience of a saint. My daughters wedding dress was lovingly designed, fitted and made by Vanessa and her team at "When Freddie met Lilly". The fit was perfection, the attention to detail was above none. We would gladly recommend Vanessa to everybody.

Vanessa and her team were incredible! I had been looking for a while online and in stores for wedding dresses specifically with a short sleeve and couldn't find anything. They have so many stunning designs that are totally customisable in regards to materials and colour, and it is made to measure so there's no need for extra alterations (other than the hemline). It made the process feel much more personal rather than buying off the rack. My whole experience with them was so enjoyable and easy and Vanessa took the time to make sure I had found the perfect gown for me. I am SO glad I have found them and could not be more excited for my wedding gown to be made!

I will never shop here again! Firstly I was on my way to pick up a dress but received a text message saying it had been sold but I could look for something else. Secondly I was made to feel insignificant by Laura and after trying on a couple of dresses rushed to finish up because there are other clients. Thirdly I walked away with a dress that looked like it only needed minor alterations so it would fit me properly only to find out by a professional that it cannot so I asked to return the item and was told no because it was a sale item. I am now stuck with a dress that I can't wear or sell, it has no wash label or size either and really can only be worn by someone who it was specifically made for.
