Townsville RSL Club reviews
69 I love this place. The food is excellent, note this is not your typical fine dining.
The food is in lines with a pub meal, but its cheap, filling and delicious. They are very heavy meals thou.
If you have kids, they also have an entertainment area with a person that looks after them. Just make sure you ring and book first.
Nice clean environment with friendly staff. Unfortunately our meal was about to be delivered to us but returned to kitchen and waited over 20 minutes for return which was cold.very disappointed. Our 2nd time visiting, won’t be a 3rd.
Great congenial staff. Happy to help more than most for boardroom AGMs and committee members doing quiet work for AGM council members.
Staff are professional, warm and welcoming.
Customer service was above board.
Meals served promptly.
Highly recommended.
The staffs are so friendly. The lunch is wonderful and delicious. The beer was cold and great. The best meal in Townsville.
Felt welcome from the moment we first walked in. The staff are so friendly.
The beer was cold and the food came quick and was delicious.
We were very disappointed with our meals last night. We had previously had a nice meal last time but this time, the rib eye steak was tough, no dressing on the salad. The teriyaki chicken was tasteless no sauce no seasoning, rice very bland: - (. Dessert.i waited and waited for my order and it hadnt been put on the computer and when it did turn up The creme brulee was gritty as was the icecream, not pleasant tasting: - (: - (after a very long 6 days work all we wanted was a nice meal: - (very disappointed.sorry won't be back in a hurry.
Restaurant has a long way to go before it meets the standards it set prior to floods. Menu is limited and food is average
Great place to have a pub or restaurant style feed. They have a sealed off pokies room if that sort of thing tickles your fancy. They have mostly recovered from the floods with the down stairs still under construction last I was there. They also have a massive conference room. A great place to have a beer and catch up with some mates or have a nice dinner with the family. All while also being able to support the Australian Military Veterans both retired and currently surviving.
Wasn;t that impressed with you meals today. Went to have Roast of the day. But you had none and so i ordered lamb cutlets and you had none of them either so me and the wife ended up having Prawn and tomato pasta.for a big place like the RSL.was not impressed at all.
Dinner at Lavaracks was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are always friendly even during busy times. They managed to fit us in for a meal with no reservation & when it was busy.
First time at the Townsville RSL with a family of 6.
Kids Club was brilliant and easily accessible, the table and chairs down stairs was a complete sideshow. Could not move a pram around with out asking multiple people to let you through. Kids meals great but not given vouchers for their drinks, one adult meal not cooked properly. Won’t be back.
Great food at a good price and everyone very friendly all there if you want a punt on keno pokes we enjoyed the afternoon
Great Meals and Member Discount and Rewards. Live music many times a week and loving the new Rockstar Karaoke on Sundays!
Live music that even the staff thought was terrible. Small dining room with no option to have somewhere quite to enjoy good company whilst trying to decide if the food is any good
Nice food however if you go on a friday night go when the members draw is on and its a big jackpot, be prepared to wait for your ordered food. We waited 1.25 hours.
We had dinner on Wednesday night and it was a pleasurable experience. The entre of scallops were cooked beautifully. I had the famous beef curry and it didn't disappoint. My daughter had the anchovy lamb in which the flavours complimented each other perfectly. For sweets we ordered the sticky date pudding and the chocolate moose. Again what a great combination of flavours. Reasonably priced with great service to top it off. Well done.
Another place that is not acquainted with diets especially food intolerence diets. Glutein free etc and not a very interesting menu.
Ate at Garrison's 'Bistro style' restaurant. Staff very nice. Food also good quality and quantity. A bit pricier than some clubs. Chips were excellent.
