Timezone Sunshine Plaza reviews
49I'm relieved that this place always seems to be kept clean and well managed. Maybe I can't go when it's shut down?
Had a good time here with my daughter. Enjoyed most activities. Staff were ex Ellen and friendly. Prices a little expensive on laser tag and dodges. Good day out for families. Very happy with the staff.
Omg spend $140. Didnt last long at all as some machimes take your money with no game given. The the dodgems where for some reason unavailable. Not my idea of fun sorry.
Please please please add a Stacker prize redemption game. I love this place and I come here often. The selection of games are awesome and the staff are very nice. Highly recommended.
When I heard there will be a Timezone at Sunshine Coast, I was super excited. Having moved from Sydney few years ago, spending time at Timezone was one of the things I missed the most.
However it was very disappointing to find that DDR is the only rhythm game at such a big brand new arcade. Also song selection is so limited. Please update/purchase more songs.
Please consider rhythm games such as DJMix Technika, Jubeat. GuitarFreaks. Drum rhythm games such as Taiko no Tatsujin (very very popular drum rhythm game) or Drummania.
Looking forward to seeing more rhythm games in the future)
Spent 2 hrs here playing Lazertag, Bowling, Bumper Cars and endless arcade games. Lots to do. Staff friendly and helpful. Lots of prizes to choose from. Highly recommend and will be back for sure.
Best arcade around! Great for kids and adults we've been many times already. Bumper cars are our favourite, but can't go past all the fun games along the way. Great prize section. Will be back regularly for sure. Although just say we've had trouble with the bowling every time so wouldn't recommend it.
The kids were excited to go to the new Time Zone, they were over the arcade at the hotel, however their joy quickly turned to disappointment. Firstly the music is excessively loud in there to the point it would be breaching WHS laws, not just for exposure to the consumer, but damage to the staff's eardrums due to long term exposure. That's just the begining, due to the loud music, everyone is yelling at each other, but the gaming machines are set at a lower decibel, thus inhibiting anyone from having any chance at wining on the games that require skill/luck, as many are time oriented but you can't hear the start due to the loud music and everyone one yelling at each other. Then there's the payment, they no longer accept coins you now have to purchase a "$30 card" and all games are $2.20 at this particular Time Zone.buy 14 games pay for 15! Time Zone is classed as family entertainment, but they really need to be a bit more age specific, Teenagers and over as it is not really designed for children younger than that. My advise is, if you have money to burn Time Zone is the place to go, if your kids just want to try and win a prize, go in have them pick the prize they want and then purchase it from a retailer in the centre. It'll be cheaper and the money you will save you can donate to the Koala's, Farmers or Bush fire appeal.it's win win. I spent $30 and the kids got a tragic little stretchy thing and a bouncy ball so small it will disappear from sight on the first bounce, at the hotel arcade I've spent $12 on the same type of games and they have a bag full of goodies.don't tell me they aren't rigged!
It was ok. When I heard Time Zone was coming to the sunshine coast I had high hopes but when visiting on 2nd day open that changed very quickly. First thought were, where are the original classics time zone was famously known for like Street fighter, Mortal combat, NBA Jam. These days it's all about the flashy lights and sound and loud sound effects to draw in the crowds and not the actual game play. They have done well, but to be honestly if felt more like a under age Casio.
