Timezone Sunshine Plaza

I wasn't sure about having a kids party here, due to the proximity to the transit centre, but it was so well organised and the kids (and adults!) had a blast. Many thanks to the staff for their attentiveness and great communication. The place is super clean, too.

Popped in with the family.the young lad that helped with the bumper cars genuinely did a great job. The games where all working, I've visited arcades where the best games are out of service.

The games are on the pricey side, but I feel like 50 dollars goes a fair way

Love the look of the venue and the amount of games you have but boy the staff here really don’t seem to care about guest experience. Came in Saturday night and wanted to ask a few questions to a young lad named Josh about how things work, he looked uninterested and really looked like he hating being there.

The claw machines were running pretty low and had little variety of items to win. I was fortunate enough to win a crash bandicoot plush twice, when asking at the desk if I could swap one for one in the machine that was on a shelf and unwinnable I was given a no because we don’t do that.

When I went to redeem my tickets for prizes I was greeted by a young lady who again seemed so uninterested in being at work. When passing over my card to get a prize behind the counter all she could muster was, what do you want to do check your tickets or something?

This is a great venue it’s just your staff letting you down massively.

One of the better Timezone locations I've been to.

Game selection is pretty good. There are a lot of carnival type games and not too many rigged "luck based" games which is nice to see.

The ticket redemption shop is pretty large and you're bound to find at least one thing you'd like to leave with. From my experience $2 of play will usually get you 50-80 tickets. The prizes range from 20-10000 tickets with most being in the 200-1000 range.

$50 will get you a decent hour of play, though I recommend getting the app and topping up your card when double credit is available as this essentially makes every game you play half the price.

Overall, it's a good experience. Everything is kept clean, I've yet to come across a broken/damaged game and the layout makes sure no area gets too crowded.

Always fun. Love it. We're always stopping in and having fun whenever we Do.
Just have to learn to save up the tickets instead of getting something small.
We just got an awesome cross bow nerd gun after saving 3500 tickets. Way more worthwhile. Have fun gaming.

Me and my partner took our kids out a few weeks ago and had a really good time.
There was a machine that failed to operate correctly and the manager at the time (forgot her name sorry)
Fixed the game on the spot and gave us extra play money in lieu!
Really helpful staff and overall great place to have family fun

My family and I visited Timezone at the Sunshine Plaza late last week. The venue was very busy but I found the staff to be well trained and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone, young or old.

Took the kids in today and we all had a great time. The place was clean and tidy, had heaps of games and the staff all seemed happy to be there, which wasn't the case at another place I went to a while back.
Will definitely be back again over the holidays.

I went in last Thursday at 10.45pm and asked to load a card, the girl behind the counter was really nice and said that the were closing at 11pm. I said no worries and that I would leave by then.

I played two games before all of the machines were turned off, when I approached the counter there were two men talking. I told them the issue and one started laughing, the other was incredibly rude and said that they always turn them off 10minutes before closing. I asked why that wasn't explained to me when I loaded $50 onto my card and the man said that it was announced at the start. I tried to tell him that no one told me and he kept saying that I was wrong and that I was told.

Next time, staff should advise customers about this because it is so frustrating knowing that I now need to find time to use my card again!

1 star because 0 is not an option and I will not return to the Maroochydore store purely because of how rude the two men were.

My partner and I came here after dinner and a few sneaky cocktails across the road and we had such a great time! Such happy staff and very welcoming too everyone:)

A huge array of redemption equipment, and attractions such as drift bumper cars, laser tag, pins on strings bowling, DDR, two pinballs, and the only place I've seen the brand new remake of Daytona USA. It has to be $100k equipment alone just for Daytona.

You can get food service here are well for bowling and it appears to be licensed (may be wrong about that).

Everyone from kids, teen-agers, and adults were there enjoying themselves.
Check it out if you want to pay about $2.20 a game for redemption and video games.

What kid doesn't love timezone huh. Big hit for us during holidays (activities). Also perfect when I want do shopping @ the Plaza, my daughters & friends hang @ timezone while I get my shopping on.

First time there, terrible service 6 staff working in the one area but only 1 serving. I go and stand at another check out I get told to wait at other one. I then line up for a drink get to the 1 check out and get told have to wait at the other side to buy a drink. It's more like a staff hang out then a place ppl can go and have respect and service. Will not go back.the gold coast is alot better in service and friendly. Maroochydore staff don't even smile unless they are stuck serving you

The arcade itself is pretty good and up to date. The bowling is straight up horrendous though, do not buy. The lanes are extra short, the pinsetting is cheap, the balls are whole sale garbage and i have belief that they do not oil their lanes or supply shoes. Looks good, but the practicality is non existence, a gimmic just for the claim of "bowling".

Always great fun and love playing the basketball game, but needs more fighting arcade games for the arcade game lovers like tekken or old shooter games etc.

Great place to go with the kids on a rainy day or as a special treat for the kids. Nachos are great you have to try them. It is very loud and not very comfortable as a parent to wait for 2hrs on hard chairs.
$250 with 3 children will not go very far here so you better fill your wallet before coming, but still, the kids had lots of fun.

I can't recommended this place enough, if you love arcades this place is absolutely fantastic. Kids love it, great choice in prizes and fantastic for date nights as well

Me and my kids love timezones but the one at the sunshine plaza wasn't much fun. So many games are not working but they leave them on so you swipe and swipe again loosing all you money. I got sick of lining up to complain with hyperactive children that just wanted to play games. I then attempted 6 different games in a row that all failed to work but took my credit, i just couldn't be bothered lining up to get a refund on each one. My experience was stressful instead of fun and we wont come back to Sunshine Plaza Timezone. Also the games that do work seem to be rigged compared to other Timezones, the lollie scoop game my kids favourite at the gold coast Timezone can not scoop any lollies at all because they leave the lollies almost empty where the scoop cant even reach any. In a nutshell the Sunshine Plaza Timezone seems all fancy but half the games don't work and will take your money.
