The Barn on Flaxton reviews
75The food are excellent. All the staff are friendly. It is a must try venue when you visit montville.
I loved this place. Peaceful, beautifully designed and most of all amazing pastries. Had the macadamia pie and brownies and it was awsome. Come here!
So dissapointed wasted $34.00 on what was advertised as deep dish chicken and leek pies and salad
We received 2 warmed up basic very average pies
A bit of lettuce on the side of the plate 2slices of cucumber a little bit if grated carrot and a slice of tomatoe
NEVER AGAIN! Save your money and go elsewhere.
Had a late lunch which was very nice and a wonderful Mango Smoothie which really hit the spot after our exertions at Kondalilla Falls. Service was prompt and the hosts were very friendly and attentive.
Stopped for early lunch.home made chunkie steak pie and coffee. Best home made pie and perfect coffee. Also great to browse the collectables and well worth a stop. Sorry, forgot to take a pic.
Beutiful food and coffee. Scones and Apple Pie desserts recommended. Have not let us down over multiple visits.
Had a nice breakfast here. Prices very reasonable and generous servings. Staff very friendly and plenty to see in the shop.
Delicious home made meat pies and scones. Great service from the staff too. Lovely place to visit.
Dreadful, $16 open burgers that had a microwaved non seasoned patty that was quarter the size of the roll. Remainder of burger was lettuce, tomato, carrot and onion. Fine if you want a three part vegetarian burger for $16each. Staff couldn't care less about customers. Ended up going down the road for another meal as still hungry.
We are not complainers but this was woefully underwhelming.
Tidy but dated. I wish a new designer to decor this cafe. It will be a perfect competition among other business in a healthy way.
Renovation your cafe to attract new customers while simultaneously showing new menus on different season.
Nice cafe + shop hybrid. The pies and soup was pretty good but the best part was the staff and overall atmosphere of the place. Perfect embodiment of lifestyle in montville and maleny. (There also was a pretty cute cat). The prices were a bit high, but supporting the local business is worth it.
The shop is cool here with lots of bits and bobs.make sure to look out for the sleepy cat on the bed towards the back near the bathroom.sitting outside on the deck to eat is nice.the food to be honest is pretty average.we came here for breakfast and it just needs more flavour and seasoning.staff are nice.
This was a dreadful dining experience. The young girl who served us was delightful but the senior woman was pompous and bordered on being rude. The food was bland and expensive for what it was. The carrot cake was nice but a small serve. Will not be going back.
Nice environment however too expensive. Paid $7 for a mango smoothy in a glass and not sure it was real mango. Last time I was overcharged. Have been a few times now to give them the benefit of the doubt. Probably wont go again.
