When reviewing I try to identify what else I could ask of an establishment. Here the answer is nothing. The Barn comes out on top for food, drink and service and an attractive gift shop.

Excellent Devonshire Tea, scones yummy. Service excellent both in cafe n shop. Will certainly be back.

Love this place, great food amazing coffee and honey soaked chai latte. A lovely gift shop that has so many interesting things in it, a great place to sit relax unwind in the lounge coffee areas. Have your favorite morning tea or stopping for lunch for some homemade soup and other delights.

Fabulous. Hadn't been there for about 3 years and it has changed owners and improved. Service food and everything is just fabulous.

When the owners work in their cafe you can tell. There’s a sense of hospitality there.
Home made scrumptious goodies with gorgeous tea or coffee.
Make sure you ask which items are home-made.
Yum yum yum.

My son and I have afternoon tea here together at least once a fortnight and we love it. He always orders "my usual" which the girls remember.
Delicious food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Today we visited the Barn on Flaxton with 34 clients from Suncare Community Services. The staff and food was wonderful, we visit a lot of places on lunch outings and I have to put this one the best so far. They were caring and attentive and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. I cannot fault this place and the gift shop is to die for. Thank you and we will definitely be back for more of 'The Barn' tasty treats.

We took a group here recently and I cannot rate this place highly enough. The owner was absolutely amazing, the lengths taken to accommodate us was beyond measure. The food was superb, and the gift shop is beautiful! Thank you for making our day wonderful and we can’t wait to return!

This place had amazing service, food was delicious with little wait. They also accommodates our 4 dogs without a hassle. Great Sunday brunch.

We always pay a visit to The Barn on Flaxton when travelling between Montville and Mapleton. It has great coffee and we especially enjoy the date and ginger scones. The Barn also has a wonderful array of gifts, crafts and local produce. The staff are lovely.

I stopped in for a late morning coffee before a lunch date at a nearby French restaurant. I will definitely return to have a meal here.if the offerings on display are anywhere as good as my coffee it will be well worth the trip.

Amazing treats, I couldn’t decide so I bought 2. Yummo Nachos all with lovely customer service and reasonable price. Will definitely be going back for a cup of tea and Grandmas Apple Pie.

The food and drinks are to die for! Staff are always friendly and make us feel welcome. They have a range of different gifts available in the gift shop. I definitely will be back
