The Muay Thai classes at ronin are definitely worth it. The trainers have a lot of experience & knowledge. They truly help with technique & overall growth.
There’s even a lady’s class on a Saturday morning that has encouraged so many ladies to try something new!

I had no previous experience at any kind of martial arts when I started at Ronin Academy but all the classes build your strength and fitness at a safe pace, the coaches never make you feel silly for not having any idea what you are doing, and are all very encouraging & supportive. Muay Thai has given me a whole new sense of confidence and mental strength, plus it’s really fun! The best part of Ronin Academy is that it feels like you are part of a big family - you are not just a number at this gym and they genuinely care about helping you reach your goals, whatever they may be. If you’re thinking about signing up at Ronin or trying a class, just do it - you won’t regret it.

The Team at Ronin are knowledgeable and friendly. They give you the support and confidence to achieve you fitness goals and discipline to improve your techniques. The atmosphere is comfortable for all fitness levels with classes for everyone. Their family friendly atmosphere makes it enjoyable and achievable for busy mum's and dad's. The whole family loved it. My friends and I trained at Ronin Academy while we were in Townsville for the weekend and loved every minute of it. The gym is amazing with a range of training options from weightlifting to martial arts. We joined into the Muay Thai class and everyone on the team were very welcoming and fun. Brooke was fantastic and very knowledgeable with her coaching and helped me personally with technique and strategies to use in a fight.
We certainly had a great time while also training hard and learning. Couldn't recommend this gym enough!

My 11yr old son wanted to try out a class before committing to signing up. Halfway through the class I could see the smile on his face and knew he was in. The entire staff and students have been so welcoming to us. The facilities are fantastic and offer a high quality environment to learn the various disciplines on offer.

Whether your battling anxiety, or depression, want to lose weight or tone up, or learn fight techniques or self defence techniques Ronin acadamy is the place to meet good people and kick goals.

Ronin has a fantastic welcoming environment and the Spence's make every one feel like they're family. Great gym equipment and classes for everyone. All of the trainers are very knowledgeable and want you to be your best. My daughter has been doing the mini samurais classes for almost 6 years and enjoys every minute of it. It has been great for her fitness, confidence and she's made friends for life. A truly caring, wonderful gym that would suit anyone.

Good gym, Great staff, enough machines for everyone. Never have to wait for machines and it's very affordable. Loving it.

Amazing gym equipment, team training session are amazing, family friendly, fight team and ALL coaching staff are awesome and very accommodating, clean and tidy throught facilities.

Was lucky enough to have Spence and Brooke walk me to the ring for my first Muay Thai fight, top coach along with Brooke, amazing people, not only did they make me feel welcome they made me feel like part of the family which is the ronin way. Cannot recommend ronin academy enough, unbelievable experience training there and can’t wait to go back️

My son built self confidence, self esteem, humility and kindness under Chris and Kelly Sepnce's watchful eye. They treated him (and still treat him, like family).

A positive spin off from this, is he's a beast in the cage, and just a kind and humble human being out of it. Chris and Kelly played a major role in how good a human being Jake is. They spent time with him on, and off the mat.

The family friendly, warm, welcoming atmosphere of Ronin is amazing! My daughters thoroughly enjoy participating in the kids class and it has given them so much confidence within themselves. Bonus, I get to do a cardio class at the same time as they train. We love being apart of the Ronin Family!
