Platypus

Absolutely loved this Platypus it's my favourite place to buy shoes! The staff all have great style, fun personalities and explained the shoes so well to us.

Beware of shady return policies as well as inexperienced and unprofessional staff.

Purchased a pair of shoes here earlier this year, requested my shoe size to try on and was given the correctly sized display pair of shoes, however on purchase I was given a brand new pair which I assumed was the correct shoe size I had requested. I only found out that I had been given a pair of shoes a size too small after I went home and tried the brand new pair of shoes on, I requested a refund over the phone letting them know I had been given the wrong size on purchase and they told me to come down to the store to replace them with the correct size pair.

Upon returning to the store the next day, I was told they could not take my shoes back as I had worn them (to try them on obviously, I didn't walk around outside with them!). I reminded them that it was their error, I had tried on my shoe size (display shoe) in store and then been given an incorrectly sized shoe (brand new shoe) but was told that there was nothing they could do.

Really friendly staff here, they'll let you try on almost all the shoes as long as they aren't too busy.

Came in here looking for size 13 shoes and had no problems, glad more shoe stores are stocking the bigger sizes. They said they even go up to a size 15, sneakers aren't just for tiny feet anymore.
