This is a review of the physical store itself, not the chain or the employees, though admittedly the selection of crocs was lackluster.
Whoever designed this location is either an alien or has never left their office to have a single authentic human experience. The entire store is a hard surface, lending the location the acoustic properties of a solitary confinement cell with music way too loud it drowns out even your thoughts, this makes it especially difficult for the cashier to ask for you details in order to process your sale. Management had a jimmy neutron brain aneurysm and added a survey to the tiny eftpos screen, as if the standard sale experience wasn't derailed, enough making the customer experience horrid and I can only imagine the employee experience can be likened to CIA torture training. Its evident that employees are forced to upsell and do a variety of sales techniques, but the store is directly built to hinder this, my sympathies for those reprimanded for not being able to do the impossible.
I imagine management really wanted to stand out with this whole structure and it really did work in the worst way possible.
This store is inhumane and only suited to silicone based lifeforms.

Fantastic service by the team on Thursday night, after leaving another retail store for terrible service the girls at platypus were extremely helpful and friendly.

I was with my adult son yesterday as he tried on some Dr Martin shoes. I have to commend the excellent customer service received by a staff member called Harry (Harriet). She was knowledgeable about the product, professional, very helpful and friendly. My son purchased the shoes with her advice as to correct shoe size and after care. Thank you Harry. She's a credit to your company.

Best service from the 3 closing lastnight honestly. Best!

I ordered a pair of crocs online, the order says size 10 (which is the size I wanted), however when received they are a size 11 - too big. I’ve been trying to get a response from the online help portal for nearly 2 weeks now. This seems to a never-ending circular process of me logging a request only to be told to wait 1-2 business days, receiving no response, I try again. I have also tried the online chat portal, after 30-45 seconds it kicks me off and sends me an email saying sorry we missed your chat, why don’t you go over to the help portal. 1/10, would not buy from this company again.

Massive shout out to the lady that helped me get three sets of chuck taylors for my 3 son’s yesterday best energy levels to match such a awesome Lady i walked in and almost instantly she was there to help me, i thank you as i went to Myers and it was not so welcoming thank you

I went into the store without the faintest idea of what to get my teen daughter for her birthday. Sensing my confusion an employee named Nina came to my aide and directed me around the store and showed me the countless options available. Excellent customer service and I am sure my daughter will love the gift I got her.

I bought some skate shoes from here & the sales guy was very helpful & friendly. They have a good variety & reasonable prices. I would return.

Bought my very first pair of docs and the girl who served us on the 21st of January in the morning was very helpful and nice and very appreciated her service and will be back again.

Thank you to the lad who helped me picking a running shoe - tried no less than 8 pairs and still very keen to help me. You are a super star! (even provided some recommendation to me). Didnt end up buying a running shoe got converse instead - but still thank you!

Tried to return a faulty pair of shoes as well as exchange for the next size up was told i could change the shoes but not the size. Did the return then they realised that they put through the wrong colour so had to do an exchange again but still refused to switch the size. So now i’ll go exchange them once again somewhere else #wastedmytime

Best customer service by Dustin! He deserves a raise! Was so friendly, outgoing, approachable, wished me a happy birthday and definitely wanted me to come back!

Had a great experience with Dustin this morning! Greeted me straight away and helped with any questions I had. Was very nice and super knowledgeable

The manager working there is very helpful and kind. Unfortunately I was unable to afford the shoes I wanted and they were in high demand but the service was just fantastic! Even though I had to say no, they didn’t feel pushy like some sales people!

I went into the garden city branch today and was served by a young gentleman named Paul. I normally don’t write reviews however I believe his hard work should be recognised. There was a 50 percent off sale in store today and Paul went above and beyond to help find a new pair of sneakers for my sister and myself. There was more than 20 customers in the store and as you can imagine it was quite chaotic. Paul was running around doing his absolute best to serve and help multiple customers at a time, whilst still providing exceptional customer service. I have never witnessed such a hard working retail sales assistant! I purchased 2 pairs of shoes and I will certainly be coming back to buy more in the future. Thank you so much for creating such a pleasant buying experience!

Wanted some canvas style shoes in baby blue. The lady said we only have size 8 I needed 7. So she "checked" the others stores.
"We are the only ones who have any left! "
So I buy them and some socks to fill them in.
Hyperdome AND Indooroopilly had my colour and size.
Literal scamming scum. Luckily they let me switch sizes.

I wanted size 10 van shoes but they said “we only got size 10 in a half. ” Then I try the size 10 in half van shoes I wore them and they fit but when I wear them for going out I was wearing white socks then back of my foot was bleeding then I realised it was because of the size 10 in a half van shoes. This caused a scar at back of my foot. What kind of store says “We got size 10 in half shoes. ” When I just said I wanted size 10 shoes not SIZE 10 IN A HALF. Worst experience ever. I NEVER SAID I WANTED MY SIZE IN A HALF. I SAID I WANTED SIZE 10 NOT IN A HALF.
