Mountview Alpaca Farm reviews
58 The Alpaca walked me around the area and showed me where all the best grass was. When it was all over he just laid down and refused to let me leave. I think I might be an Alpaca whisperer. We had time to reflect on my new found super power over a bottle of bubbles and a picnic next to a rocky but rumbling brook.
Bubbles good. Food great. The chicken could be crispier, the bread could be more crusty. But minor quibbles really, the basket had lots of amazing sides and I was pretty chuffed all in all. Full points for accommodating the GF people.
A fantastic experience to walk with the Alpaca's beside a lovely creek, and a fantastic view. The Alpaca's are so excited to walk with you, they jump with joy. After that enjoy a meal with wine.
Great place for the kids to get up and close to the Alpacas. Funniest thing ever watching a standoff between to Alpacas and one of them let loose with a big ball of spit at the other. One even had a shot at my daughter.
A truly amazing place for wine tasting. Plus the chef was able to prepare a dish i could eat, without compromising my malabsorptive condition.
They do a really good Muscato as well. Plus a visit to all things Alpaca. Just duck if you get close enough to pet one. The adult alpaca will look you straight in the face and spit on you. I ducked!
They are so adorable and fluffy. I went there on September and they were not yet shaved. So I suggest go there during winter or at least before summer.
Kids loved being here. Very easy to purchase some feeds and feed Alpaca. There is plenty of open space, a restaurant and you can take an Alpaca on a stroll as well. You can also relax yourself in the creek which is nearby.
Great fun! Pancake was a bit of a handful, but amazing time spent with these gorgeous creatures.
Amazing experience. They are gentle animals. Funny attitudes. Love grass!
Had an amazing time being there.
Went there for a 30th celebration. Atmosphere was great, tasting paddle was great value and loved the food. Best spot on the tasting tour. Def's be back.
Had a great time walking the Alpacas. We went on a weekday so it was nice and quiet. Staff were friendly, we weren't rushed at all.
We booked the Alpaca walk and picnic package which we enjoyed. And it was nice to walk around the grounds with an ice cream afterwards. Everything was clean and tidy.
We had a great day as part of a birthday celebration yesterday. Everyone in our group had a great time with the alpacas, even if they did want to stay in one place to eat the grass there. Overall, I would highly recommend doing this experience.
Wow! What a great place, had the experience to walk a alpaca then visit O'Reilly's Vineyards for a glass or 2 of wine plus a pizza for lunch. Great place for family & friend's
Excellent service, me and my 4 year old loved this experience. The Alpacas were beautiful and so easy to handle. We had Teddy and Cocoa, both sweet loving fur babies. We will definitely be making a 2nd trip.
Great site to bring the whole family, specially the little ones that enjoy walking the Alpacas along the beautiful river and giving them food.
Had a great time playing with alpacas ️ they are definitely very cute and cuddly. There was a lot of variety in the gift shop and walked away with alpaca money box, salt and pepper shakers and a cuddly alpaca plush made out of real alpaca fur ️
Interesting, friendly staff and friendly Alpacas. Taking an Alpaca for a walk, I consider a bit expensive.
We had a great time walking our alpacas. I really lovely experience and a nice way to spend the morning. I recommend you book because it was very popular!
Thank you to the team at Mountainview Alpaca Farm for a wonderful experience. And a big thank you to Cocoa and Teddy for letting us walk you around while you enjoyed the lush green grass and showed us your unique little personalities?
My partner and I were given a wine and cheese lunch with the Alpaca walk for Christmas, it was such a beautiful experience, the location, the food and wine, the staff, and of course Macca & Brandy were all amazing, we highly recommend this for people of all ages.
Loved feeding the alpacas. Only cost $3 and my daughter and I had a ball. Didn't choose to walk an Alpaca as she is too young however we will definitely be coming back to walk one around. The view near the creek is stunning, so relaxing and picturesque. Will come back to have a picnic here!
