Mountview Alpaca Farm reviews
58Came here with my friend who's local to the area. We didn't do a tour but bought a couple of bags of food for $3 each and walked back and forth feeding the alpacas. Not being forced to do a tour and being able to check out the alpacas like that is a great low-budget experience. The girl at the shop was friendly and since we were there on a week day, there was only one couple going for a tour. I can see this being a cute family activity. I'm a bit embarrassed by the bad reviews because the animals acted like animals and didn't "perform" as expected. I think they offer a great experience there. The alpacas obviously have their own minds and it's great to come so close to an animals that's still not a pet after all. It's worth mentioning that a winery is conviently close and the surrounding area is really beautiful with a little river nearby.
We truely loved the experience today. Must bring my kids here next time.
Clean, great customer service and definitely a spot/ visit for the kids of all ages.
The gift shop and the $3 pk of food for the Alpacas is a must stop by prior to going to the farm area. Such friendly, gentle and adorable creature they are.
I know my Sofia will want to take one baby Alpaca home for sure!
My husband and I visited Mountainview Alpaca Farm this past weekend, and it was such a fun experience. Special thank you and shoutout to Thomas who was working in the gift shop at the time of our visit— he was super warm, kind, and friendly. He took the time to tell us a bit more about the farm, answer questions about the items in the shop and about the baby alpacas! Would definitely recommend stopping in to feed the alpacas!
Great place to take the younger kids or grand kids, its an interesting way to get close to the Alpaca's. Food and shady places next door, great way to spend a few hours, and the gift shop has some funky items.
Wished we'd had time on the tour to take the alpacas out but it was also great walking around and seeing them. Very friendly alpacas indeed
WHAT AN ABSOLUTLEY JOYOUS EXPERIENCE!
I have no painting ability whatsoever, and it didn't matter - we walked the alpacas, and then sat and sipped and painted crazy interpretations, and some true to life. There's no rules, and it's super cool.
Definitely a bucket list thing to do!
Oh where do I begin with how amazing this place is and a bucket list of mine was to spend time with alpacas and we did an 1hr with our own alpacas and our alpacas were coconut and sparky
Such beautiful creature would highlighy recommend and can’t wait to do it again
Had a great time with the family walking, patting and feeding the alpacas. Would definitely recommend
An underappreciated spot to have family fun. A wide green space to walk an alpaca while the functions building pours taster paddles and whips up pizzas etc. Alpaca experience prices are very fair.
Went there today with my youngest son, we both absolutely loved the whole place.we were served by Jordana. She gave us patches for a walk, alpacas were lovely. I highly recommend.
Such a wonderful place for couple and family! We tried experience with so cute Alpaca and feeding him. We will never foget it.
Overpriced, unsure why I had to pay for myself also when I just watched the children. It was advised an adult needs to supervise, this can be done without having to pay. There was a family in front of me who argued the same point, they had to pay for themselves to watch their 14 year old daughters. If I am paying for an adult and a child we should at least get an Alpaca each, this wasn't the case. I feel like this is a forced method to get extra money. On a good note, Teddy was absolutely gorgeous.
We had great time there! So fun to bring Alpaca around, just be aware don’t force them too much
Very nice place to visit. I really loved to see the animals (alpacad and tortoises) around.
It is a grape crop the place.
This was nice more so i felt for children than adults. They could take the alpacas for a walk etc.doesn't really tickle my fancy but the children seem to love it and of course they're friendly and tame so no need to worry about one going Harry carry on you! Beside a lovely winery and the grounds were lovely with lovely views. I think $50 for half an hour was a bit hefty but each to their own, I certainly wouldn't pay that to walk an alpaca. I have a scarf from their fur so I highly recommend that!
Spent Mothers Day here and OMG it was so amazing. Not only did my 2 babies (14 & 5) lol have the best time but my whole family did as well. We booked 4 Alpacas for 30 mins, my little man even got to pick his own Alpaca that he had seen on the website, so that made it even more special. Would definitely come back.
Thank you for such a beautiful Mothers Day xxx

Barely 20 mins from nerang is this gem! I took my wife and my mates and we loved walking these beautiful alpacas on the green by the river. Then grabbing a picnic or a pizza and a paddle of wines. This place is amazing and I recommend all people to bring the family or friends out for a great time
