Loved coming to Modern Mamas! Such a great way to get out the house and meet new mums. Carene dones such a good job organising and facilitating. No suprises that spaces go fast!

Really enjoyed my 10 weeks at modern mama's. Carene made us comfortable and welcome, and went above and beyond and was a lovely host. My one wish is that it went for longer but all good things come to an end.

Don’t hesitate to put your name down! This 10 week program was a really great way to meet other new mums at a similar stage to motherhood. Carene who hosts each group is genuine, kind and supportive - she’s walked the new mum shoes a few times, so if you arrive flustered or with your eyeballs hanging out your face after a rough sleep, she just gets it! With great guests covering topics such as weaning and wellbeing, in addition to barista coffee, sweet treats and the chance to have a good catch up with the other ladies, this mothers group was something I looked forward to every week. While all good things must come to an end, I’m grateful that our group is already planning social activities and play dates so we can continue the fun together! Don’t miss out:)

I’ve been to modern mamas when both of my children were babies and it’s such a great program / community. Carene is an absolutely amazing host and I’ve been lucky enough to meet some of my closest mum friends through the groups. Highly recommend!

We soooo looked forward to each Wednesday at Modern Mumma's. Carene is a gem - so hospitable, down to earth, thoughtful and fun. She put my restless bub to sleep one week while I sipped a coffee and connected with other wonderful mum's. Loved all the weekly inclusions. Highly recommended!

Modern mama's is something I am so grateful for. Not knowing many other mum's in Brisbane made it quite hard to socialise and after the first session I walked out on cloud 9! Meeting other ladies going through the same things, talking to people that can relate and just felt like I belonged. Wouldn't be possible without Carene and her thoughtfulness. She is a superstar with the babies and mum's and would do it all over again. Each session was fun, informative and relaxed environment. Would 100% recommend to all mum's! Thank you Carene x

I had the most amazing time at modern mamas. Carene is so welcoming and really creates an amazing environment to meet other mums with a great balance of activities and chats (the coffee is a great bonus!). I couldn't recommend doing this enough to any mum looking to make genuine connections with other mums that will continue past the 10 weeks.

Parker and I have absolutely adored spending our Tuesday’s with Carene and Modern Mumas. It’s been a magical 10 weeks of getting to know some wonderful like minded ladies.

I’ve had such a great experience with Modern Mamas! Carene is so lovely and welcoming and fantastic at facilitating the group. I really enjoyed the different guests each week, but mostly the chance to sit, have a tea, chat to other like-minded mums and feel not-so-alone in the new baby bubble. Book in as soon as you can - it’s honestly just the best!

Looking for something to do with your little one? This mother's group is the perfect activity! Nora and I have absolutely loved spending our Wednesdays with Carene and our new mama friends. Mums can instantly relax upon arrival as you get greeted with a barista made coffee and some yummy treats. We loved the real conversations with other mums and all the guest speakers.

We have absolutely loved coming every week for the past 10 weeks. The variety each week has been exciting and Carene has been the perfect host. We will miss our Tuesday outings! Highly recommend to any new mama!

Looking for a really cool, inclusive, fun, supportive mums group? Then look no further. Carene has created the most beautiful space that Jacob and I loved coming to every Wednesday for the past 10 weeks. From the delicious brunch, to fantastic guest speakers, to yummy coffee - I really cant recommend this highly enough.

I was recommended to Modern Mama’s by a friend who had also come here with her bub, and loved it; and I was not disappointed! A lovely relaxed experience with great organization behind it to do activities each week like baby music and sensory time, hear from a specialist about introducing solids, get informed about returning to exercise as a new mama and more.not only did I get the chance to meet a lovely group of ladies, I also had an activity every week that I felt was as much for me as for baby (and bub slept extra long after each meetup as a bonus!). Carene has made something really special here, I can’t recommend it enough. 5 stars!

This is hands down the ultimate mommy group, run by an absolute legend. Having been recommended this group when I was pregnant I signed up to the waiting list, and yes, its deserving of a waiting list. The plethora of activities, carefully planned out by the beautiful organiser are well thought through, relevant, entertaining and perfect for us mommies. Each guest speaker is delightful, interesting and informative. I loved it, my baby loved it and our whole group loved it. We've made friends for life and had a super 10 weeks. Quite simply, do not miss out!

Such a fantastic mother’s group! Extremely well organized from the time you sign up. Carene creates an environment that is inclusive, warm and welcoming. It’s the perfect mix having a different inclusion each week, coffee and morning tea/brunch with time to spend chatting with the other mums. It’s no wonder spots sell out in 2 hours. I’d sign up again in a heartbeat!

I had such a good time during the 10 week period! The speakers were great and i've made new friends. I'm so glad I signed up - i'd highly recommend this for any mumma on maternity leave:)
