Highly recommend this mother's group!
Comfy location, easy parking, coffee on arrival and each week a different guest (music for little ones, nutritionist, midwife etc.). Lovely friendly environment to share those early months with other mums

As first time parents, my partner and I highly recommend the Antenatal Class. We feel informed, inspired and ready for the journey ahead. We felt comfortable asking questions, and sharing with the group. You will love the wonderful midwives, Robyn and Jayne, they are incredible!

Couldn’t recommend Modern Mama’s Mothers Groups highly enough! Carene has gone above and beyond to provide a safe, clean, comfortable environment to visit every week and chill with your bub and meet other Mum’s. The experience has been wonderful - I’ve made lots of new friends and it has been worth every cent! I can’t wait to start the next group next week!

We absolutely loved our Wednesday Mama's and bubs session. Carene was most welcoming and understanding of how the journey of motherhood can be. Each Wednesday the focus is on something different - something for mum's, something for bubs. I loved that there was always a nice warm coffee, the most kindest mum's, adorable bubs, a safe and comfortable environment, and catchups out of the session! Thanks so much Carene!

My husband and I recently completed the 5-week antenatal classes run by Robyn and Jayne from Midwives at Morningside at Modern Mamas. The classes were very informative, and Robyn and Jayne did an excellent job of creating a safe and comfortable environment for all. We really appreciated the effort that was made to welcome not just Mums but Dads as well. Thanks ladies.

We recently completed the 5-week Antenatal classes at Modern Mamas run by the amazing Robyn & Jayne from Midwives of Morningside. Best thing we could have done to prepare for the birth of our baby. The classes were very practical and “real”! Robyn and Jayne are so passionate about what they do and we felt so prepared for the arrival of our little one after completing the classes with them. All the tips and techniques were highly valuable and we’d recommend these classes to anyone looking to be more informed for the birth of their baby. Thanks Carene, Robyn & Jayne!

Thank you Carene for creating such a wonderful space for mums and bubs! As a first time mum this mothers group was everything I wanted and more, not only have I met other mums I will continue to see but the professionals that came in to give talks were amazing. Each week Carene greeted us with a smile and welcomed us with much needed coffee. We’ve signed up for postnatal Pilates to keep meeting new mums.

Absolutely loved the sessions at Modern Mamas with Carene. I firstly booked into the baby massage course and then in the next round booked into the 10 week mother's group program. I highly recommend both. It is such a lovely supportive environment where you can socialise with other mums with babies similar age. It's amazing to see all these little kids grow over the weeks! Carene does a wonderful job. Do yourself a favour and book yourself in!

I am so glad I signed up to Modern Mamas. It was a great balance of things for mum (photographer, guest presenters and activities), entertaining bubs (music classes) and time to socialise with others in the group. Barista coffee and yummy snacks every week were a nice touch that enhanced the experience. It was well run by Carene and I met a lovely bunch of mothers to continue to socialise with. It is no wonder groups fill up so quickly! I highly recommend signing up!

I enjoyed Modern Mamas with my first baby so I knew I had to make sure I was on the waitlist after my second baby arrived. I’m so glad I signed up again because I enjoyed it even more this time. Carene has perfected what was already a great mother’s group environment! Make sure you’re on the waitlist - it’s one of the best things you’ll do on Mat.leave.

One of the best things I’ve done with my maternity leave (besides have the baby of course)! Met some amazing women, learned lots and it gave me so much confidence as a new mum to get out and about with my little one.

This was such a fantastic 10 weeks and I am so sad it is over! I’ve met some amazing ladies that I otherwise would not have had the chance to meet. The structure of the program is amazing and Carene has obviously worked hard to curate it. From interactive music sessions with bub through Boppin Babies (my fav!) to beautiful mum and baby photos taken by a photographer to informative sessions on starting solids run by a paediatric dietician to a physio attending to give helpful advice post partum is just incredible and only some of the highlights. It’s the thoughtful little touches also like having a barista made coffee there waiting for you every week and morning tea fed to you and help with bub when she’s a bit fussy so you can enjoy the sessions just make it that bit more special. There is some self care quietly worked in so we get a bit of a chance to relax and have something done for us when we don’t get the chance to do it for ourselves. It’s such an amazing environment and I will not hesitate to recommend this group to my friends as they start their journey of motherhood. I’m not surprised this sells out every time so if you are considering a spot - don’t hesitate, it’s worth every cent and enjoy.

Best mums group by far! As a second time mum I didn’t think I needed another mums group but boy was I wrong! Carene was so welcoming and had fantastic speakers and the music classes were a real treat!

Getting out of the house and meeting other mums is so important in those early months and Carene offers a warm, safe and welcoming space to do this in. The weekly guest speakers were incredible and offered valuable advice that helped to answer those first (and second!) time parenting questions. She even feeds you cake and caffeine. Highly recommend.

I have absolutely loved my time at Modern Muma's. It has been the highlight of my week, receiving coffee and cake on arrival and chatting with other beautiful mumma's and their bubs. Carene is so friendly and understanding and always there to offer support. She has done an incredible job creating this platform for mothers to meet other mothers. I 100% recommend Modern Mama's.

Honestly though! I have had the BEST 10 weeks. Not only was there coffee (what mother doesn’t need coffee) but the environment, support and knowledge I got from this group was incredible.
