Great experience with both the receptionists and medical staff. Receptionists were organised, helpful and attentive. Medical staff were friendly and knowledgeable, assisting with any questions I had. Overall great experience and would recommend to others.

After the review below I called to there to make an appointment for my wife because the doctor is good and she likes, the receptionist tried to intimidate asking why I did the review below. That’s what happened there many time and that’s my opinion so if it won’t get better I won’t change it!

I've never ever experienced such an awful receptionist in my life. My experience with the short haired blond lady as been disrespectful and awful.

She ignored my wife on many occasions She is rude and unprofessional behaviour.

My wife have been there and her ignored my wife many occasions! The last time that she went with my 9 days old baby boy then this woman discriminated her and just ignore her for a long time!
Such bad experience! You guys need to take care with your customers!

I recently suffered deep cuts to my fingers and walked in to the Mermaid Beach Medical Centre looking for help. Dr Sumitomo was amazing attending to my injuries quickly and professionally. The nursing staff and receptionists all showed incredible concerns and made me feel so cared for. My return checkups we’re equally high level treatments. I can’t praise them enough. Thank you.

My family and I have been coming here for many years and I would highly recommend them. Dr. Paul Fisser has been an incredible and supportive Doctor always going the extra mile.

This star is for the dr who treated me who was thorough and good The four stars I did not tick are for the reception staff who totally lost my booking and then totally forgot about me in an isolation room. Then suggested I was not in the correct surgery.
I waited 1 hour and 25 minutes before being seen. And only at my insistence

Not coming back and certainly not recommending this clinic.
I've been at this clinic 2 weeks ago and paid a consultation fee, I was requested to do an ultrasound and other exams, but I haven't done all of them yet. However, as I was really concerned about my ultrasound, I called the clinic and asked if I could have a phone call just to know about my ultrasound result. Then, I was told that I need to pay $85 just for a 2min call, this is totally absurd, and I have never been charged to get results after 2 weeks of my consultation. I don't mind paying if is a proper consultation, or if I was going to be given all my exam results but paying this amount only for a piece of mind quick call is a rip-off.
Is really bad, is not about the patient, or their well-being, they don't care if you are not sleeping at night thinking you might have cancer is all about the money.

Had an amazing experience at this centre this morning. Super friendly receptionist on arrival, no waiting time, and then the doctor was so thorough and informative. Can highly recommend. Charlie from Broadbeach

I was recently recommended to go to Mernaid Beach Medical Centre for a skin check. I was very impressed right from the girls at the front desk who were friendly and efficient to the lovely lady doctor who came out to greet me and was very professional and informative.
The whole place was refreshingly clean, calm and a pleasure.
I will definitely go back there.

Was very much cared for and looked after by the Admin staff through to my doctor. Great work by the team there.

I’ve just had a recent skin check and small biopsy at this medical centre. Dr. Salkeld was very professional, informative and efficient. The reception staff on the front desk were extremely accommodating and friendly. Definitely a medical practice I would recommend to my family and friends!

I have recently moved to the gold coast from the sunshine coast. I called this practice for an new booking as i have been sick for the last 3 weeks. In this time i have had a course of antibiotics and was told to see a doctor if i don’t get better. Symptoms have been blocked head, loss of taste and smell but i have been away for work and working night shifts plus testing DAILY with RAT tests as requirements for site. ALL TESTS NEGATIVE.

I told the practice about my symptoms and after being put on hold i was initially told i could come in but test the morning of with a RAT test only to receive a phone call back in 15 minutes and be told that i can’t come in and they are just following rules and regulations. Set by who? They aren’t the government guidelines. I’m testing daily, all negative, working fine. The world has gone mad. Shame on you for turning away patients out of fear. Why did anyone get the vaccine if this is the treatment?

Horrendous reception lady called Sue. She is miserable and incapable, she huffs and puffs when answering phone calls and she even hung up on me. Not sure how she still has a job.

Would highly recommend this clinic especially Dr Kuzuki he is a great doctor, really took the time to listen and really went above and beyond to help me with treating my condition. There was Very short wait time and receptionists are very kind and professional.the place also has plenty of parking and good vibes Would definitely recommend:)

This medical Centre is amazing. 5/5 stars is an understatement. There is low wait times, you can book online or via the app which is super convenient. Dr Anelisa is a great doctor, she is very understanding empathetic, professional and knowledgeable. I have been pretty sick since having Covid 3 times (last time I had Covid was a month and a half ago and my heart has been tachycardic) and would highly like to thank her for making the time to squeeze me in that day and for helping to investigate my health concerns by ordering more tests to find out if there’s any underlying causes. This is my second review, I have been to the medical Centre a few times now and the 2 doctors I’ve been to are both outstanding, very professional, kind and helpful:) It’s so Hard to find good doctors and good medical Centres these days but I can honestly recommend this one! They are great, doctors are lovely and the reception lady’s are always really nice

I have been a customer of this medical practice for about 30 years, since back when you were on the cnr of markeri and sunshine. Tried to book in but was told you no longer bulk bill. Shame on you guys! Greed rules over looking after people. Despicable!

I have been to this medical centre a fair few times and have left it be as I believe EVERYONE has bad days, however last week when I took a co worker in to the centre for chest pains I have never ever dealt with such rudeness. Working with the public myself these front desk receptionist people lack empathy, manners, respect and common courtesy. And to send a person away to attain a mask when experiencing chest pains is a whole different issue on its own. I would have to say after dealing with these women on numerous occasions this would have to be the worst medical centre on the coast.

Skin check revealed a new mole 18 months ago. Latest check up caused concerns for the doctor so organised a biopsy. My anxiety regarding the procedure was surprisingly high.
The staff, including reception, nurse and doctor were fantastic. I was reassured, informed and put at ease. Highly recommend.

Dr. Carter had been my doctor for over 15 years, I have followed him around the coast from Burleigh to Mermaid, because he is the best.
Aways keen to find the cause of the issue. I have tried several other during the time He was away, and 99% of the time all they did was to send me home with a prescription, not even asked more them 3 questions.
I know the lady at the front counter look and sounds a bit rude, but she is professional and get the job done. Use the APP to book!
The nurses are fantastic!
I drive 30min to have the best for me and my family! So if you are looking for a Dr.dont be put off due to the comment of 1 or 2 people that did not quite understudy they fees and charges. They DO bulk build week days, but NOT Sunday and public holidays (Im not sure about Saturday). But there are open long hrs.
Some times there is a long wait, but we just have to understand that some cases take more then the 15 min.pre allocated.

I think this is the best Medical Center in town!
if you not happy good luck to you. There are a lot of other out there.
