I love my local Fish n Chip shop- affordable, awesome food; generous servings (try the veggie burger) and it's super friendly family run. I can't justify going anywhere else, they're the best

Delicious fresh seafood and crunchy well cooked chips. Prompt friendly service. Amazing baklava too!

Food was okay and prices were good. But the wait was very long, at least 30min to get food. Also none of the staff are wearing masks, only one check in sign and it's hard to find. Not a particularly safe environment in the day and age.

This friendly little shop with beautiful views of the park and ocean gave us 5 star service with a smile! Delicious fish and chips! We went away feeling that we had received the warmest hospitality! Our hearts and our bellies were full! THANK you for your hospitality which is so rare these days! Also, if you have kids, there is a fantastic playground in the park across the road and a walkway along the ocean! A trip to Lota Takeway means half a day of family fun and entertainment! Support this fantastic, local little business!

Best in Lota, probably the best in Bayside to be truthful. Neck in neck with Fins Fish House for fish and chips.

Great local family venue. Fantastic service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Nice fresh crumbed fish with great chips. Definitely worth it and we will be back again.

I purchased one serve of chips and one piece of fish.what i received was a uncooked piece of crumbed fish and cold chips that were half raw on the inside.i am so disappointed in this service today as previously the food has been of an excellent quality.i'm afraid the Lota Takeaway has now lost me and my hugh family as one of their loyal customers.

Our local. Our favourite family are back and the fish and chips (and burgers and calamari) are still excellent. Great value. Fast, friendly service. Across the road from Lota Park. Best views in Brisbane to boot.

Today I took my client there for lunch I got her a grilled barramundi and chips and I had the steak burger. When getting her fish out the paper was wet and I noticed that there was a layer of lettuce under her fish and it was dripping wet and her being very picky I had to try and scape of the lettuce. My burger had so much salt and pepper on the steak it wasn't very nice. I will say the service was great though.

Fair serving of chips but could have been cooked more for crunch. Crumbed cod fish was tasty but fillet was cut rather thin. That by itself would've bothered us but the Pluto pups were undercooked and soggy, both my children refused to eat them.

In the old days 10-15 years ago this place was the best but these days the quality has decreased, chips were undercooked and fish was bland no lemon and hardly any salt

Always enjoy the hamburger with the lot plus a flat-white from here! Travel half an hour for our “hit” most weeks!

Brilliant old style unpretentious (greasy) fish and chip shop. Lovely views. Outside seating. Excellent gluten free. Moderate pricing. Excellent customer service. Great place to experience Australian culture.

Lots of parking, right next to a park with water views. Cheap with generous serving sizes and has the best chips around

Outstanding food quality and size for the prices. Nicer food than other takeaway shops in the area. Drinks are a bit pricy, however the low prices on everything else make up for that.

The building and eating area are pretty quaint, which adds to a very laid back atmosphere which is great for the beachside location. You wouldn't feel out of place stopping by after work in your work rags.

The owner is really nice, and always seems to be in a good mood.

Definitely the better of the other nearby takeaways.

We always go here for our burgers they are so good. Everyone there are just lovely and friendly. It is a relaxing place to wait for you food.

Lots take away is my sons favorite place they do an amazing steak sandwich and service is always friendly

The owners and staff are lovely and they have the best hamburger with the lot. It's old fashion value for money and great service, the only takeaway I buy from in the area.
