Hobbyrama reviews
60Go here often but I'm still always blown away by the range of the models. Probs the best Hobby store in Australia
Best range of models in Brisbane. Spare parts for all types of remote control cars, planes, helicopters and boats. Decent prices friendly knowledgeable staff.
Had to come here to get unusual bolt sizes that Bunnings don't carry. Were helpful and had exactly what I was after. Seems like a good place to check out if you are into hobby activities.
The trip from the Gold Coast only took 56mins.
Through the Clem 7 tunnel and out the other side to Stafford.
It's very easy to find and once inside it's wall to wall and shelves and full of quality model kits RC kits and model railway starting from the basic starter packs to all the accessories you can point your bank account details at.
There's enough stock to get any big kid even the adult kids into trouble it's very easy to spend far more there than you intended too.
Location+Great looking shop+reasonable prices=Happy Customers.
I’ll definitely be back. Both the man upstairs and the man downstairs are very knowledgeable in their areas. I built a great 1/10 scale RC off-roader: The Grasshopper. Everything I needed from paints, brushes, magnifying glasses, knives & other tools plus the 3 channel radio, servos, charger and NiMH battery were all under one roof. Even helped when I got the wrong paints. I’ve been out of the game for 30 years and this is definitely the place to get back into it.
Awesome service! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Returned an unwanted gift with no issues. Bought more from them on the day.
Just getting into gundam model kits, every time i go i feel like i cant ask anything no matter how dumb and i always find great paints or a new tool i could use to improve, great shop will always go back
Fantastic range for everyone. Impressed with the hard to find products, tubing etc. Great staff also.
Awesome place with a knowledgeable legend behind the counter. Plenty of stock of brilliant stuff. An all round great hobby shop
Large variety of Gundam, Military, Automotive and other kits, die cast vehicles, slot cars, RC vehicles and many types of paint. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable considering it is a bricks and mortar store. Stock levels can be hit and miss on some lines, but generally okay.
Because of medical issues, I can't drive ever. So I rely on the delivery system and I can say that Hobbyrama Stafford are the best in the business. The service unrivaled and the employees are of the highest quality, Thank you.
My favourite hobby store. Not the cheapest kits but still competitive and their range of models and in particular paints and scenics is second to none.
An interesting shop. Service was lovely and helpful, and I managed to pick up everything I need for a decent price.
Really cool shop. A bit out from the CBD, but this means they can have a pretty decent sized shop. Really lovely, honest staff.
Ordered my products Thursday night shipped out friday 1pm received them Monday afternoon great service (please change from aus post tho haha)
Awesome. Great team to deal with there. Both helpful and polite and did a great job to get a large item to me here in "Mexico" (Victoria). Would definitely buy from them again.
** As of Thursday 26th March Hobbyrama will remain open as your one stop shop for supplies to get you through those long days at home, they also offer postage through their online Web store so you don't leave the house if you are unwell. Very grateful for them doing this! The staff clearly care about the health of patrons as they are constantly sanitising surfaces and ask you not to enter the store if you are unwell. They have a huge range of puzzles, model kits and many other things to keep you busy. I can't recommend this place enough!
Didnt know that hobby shops like this still existed.
Awesome range of plastic kits and just about everything else.
Great range of metal kits as well, super cool people.
Knowledgeable, approachable staff with assistance on hand everytime.
No matter what you're into (finescale 1/4" early 1900's narrow gauge victorian railways for example!).
You feel part of a community at this shop, regular faces, and staff happy to understand and endorse your passion.
Really helpful staff and the biggest range of hobby "toys" I've seen anywhere.
Heaps of models in metal, wood or plastic. Glue, paints and air brushes from entry level to serious enthusiasts.
Everything at fair pricing from entry level plastic models for little kids to start with, through to the most detailed plastic Tamika models for $150+ at 1/12 scale.
